@@WaywardTravelers Hey are y'all in the Placida area? I saw one of the transoms of a boat at the slip and thought maybe he and you were local....anyway, I visit often and would love to run it around Charlotte harbor sometime with y'all!
Very Good production Sir. Thoroughly covered it all and what you get for 10k. 1 of these days I will have the pleasure to say I own a Cat. 5:36 flew past.
We love it. Bit of a learning curve. We stopped putting filters down, also no TP. We also make it drier as that seems to keep any smell down. We use it full time and have only emptied it 4 times in 9 months

Hey great job!! So much work in such a short video, just don't die it justice.! I'm interested in the automatic bilge system you installed, I'm looking to do that system on my 2008 105mc. Any advice or pictures or anything else for directions, please!!!
I didn't do much of a video, the lighting was horrible. I used the they Hull that was a manual bilge in the head, emptying just under the sink. I ran power thru a float switch directly to my battery bank as I always want this on. I used adhesive and found the lowest point in the hill when I last vacuumed the water out. Let me know if you have any other questions happy to help.
I should not be watching this! I'm near a low cost Gemini, it is my favorite boat and the price is good. Hesitation is that there is no place to moor it on Cape Cod and I'm feeling old :-)
Why is boat maintenance so expensive? It seems like if you are knowledgeable and have the right tools even an expensive boat can be maintained for pennies on the dollar. I'm not a boat owner but can't wrap my head around the incredible regular costs
All the parts need to be of a higher grade to keep from rusting to dust in the salt environment. Water is the universal solvent and proves the fact quite often.
Very cool boat for the cost
Thanks for saying so
Incredible job! She looks great and you made it look so easy (which I know how much work and elbow grease went into what you did)
Good boat for Florida and the Bahamas. Big AC in it would rock.
Thanks, and yes it would
Love it! I actually have this boat on my very short list (if I can find one in the Annapolis area). Well done.
We love ours. Best of luck.

@@WaywardTravelers ahh bummer, best of luck though!! looks like you've done a great job on her! Keep it up!
Fantastic job guys, minus standing rigging anything is possible if you have the will!👍🏻👍🏻
What else was I gonna do? Lean to golf? Screw that. Build something, fix something, that's the way.
@@WaywardTravelers absolutely👍🏻👍🏻🙏
I'll buy your next catamaran!
Sounds like a deal
@@WaywardTravelers what are you working on now? I'm in the market for a cat under 40'.

Hows the composting head working out for you? Thinking about doing the same for our project cat.

Most people just dont want to put the effort into it. I like working on stff like this
Me too. It ends up meaning more and you know how to fix it when it breaks.

Where have you sailed her and where are those videos!?

Fascinated that y’all did the loop in a 30 Gemini! Is there anything you would change about the boat before you left?
I think it's the ideal looping boat. Have a 60 ho outboard, which is plenty.
Inspiring
Thanks

Nice work, I am looking at a Gemini begging for help.
They are great boats.

Thank you so much.
What is your speed under power? Is that a 60hp? Thx.
Five comfortably at 3500 rpm, upwards of eight but over 5500 rpm.
Yes sixty horse
How did you find that boat? I only ever see them for >70k ?
They're out there. Usually a listing on Craigslist or some odd place without pictures.
