A great start for Mousinho in his first game in charge today. It felt so good to get that winning feeling back at Fratton Park, been a long time coming. Now let's use today as a springboard to kick on and hopefully get a place in the playoffs and salvage something from this season. So proud of the lads today. Who needs Mourinho? WE'VE GOT MOUSINHO. It's too late for the playoffs, we can hardly afford to drop a point for the rest of the season for that to happen. It's far too big an ask we will lose more games. It's all about avoiding the drop now and hopefully rebuild in the summer...
Remember how far behind we were from the top 2 in League 2 when we went on that massive winning run at the end of the season to win the league? Well I do, all I know is we’re currently 9 points off the playoffs and 9 points off of the relegation spots and it could go either way or we could finish somewhere in between
It’s a great start for Mousinho, but it’s important to remain realistic & not raise expectations too much too soon. There is a lot of work to be done to turn us around into a solid & consistent side, but this is a great first step.

Did not expect that at all, whether it was the players just merely reacting to the change or Mousinho's direct influence is impossible to say. But we definitely would have lost that under Cowley or Bassey. Forgotten what a win feels like it's been so long. I just expect us to play crap and lose every week and this is a shock! I did notice, even from the little highlights clip that Pompey were getting the crosses in faster, and that was what he was saying the day he was appointed, so I think it's him! 😁
Brilliant goal from Pack, the eruption of joy in the stands was fantastic, Pompey played better today most of the game, Macey done well, superb save 2nd half in the Fratton End, 100% win record for Mourinho 😉 all good at the moment, I’m pleased for him, not an easy job to come in to, come on, let’s all get behind him and Pompey (that plane was absolutely stupid, what a waste of aviation fuel) PUP 🐶
