Yeah, I knew the departure angle for the van would be a problem. For the life of me, I can't understand why they don't fit a set of small wheels or a roller system at the back to take it over the rough and prevent damage. Go up behind Hanmer Springs and go into the Edwards and or over mailings pass. Great Job boys Take a single-wheel version next time and convince me it would worth buying yours instead of importing an AOR for myself. I follow Kerin and Kegen in their van they started with a single axil.
Great video, we did the McCauley in flood last year, was epic, was great to see the Drone footage of the valley covered in snow, that was epic, we had 25deg clear skies and and brown as summer gets, so great to see it from the snowy perspective! Also great to see what these can do, have followed Sarah and Keelan in Aus for years. They have got me interested in an X-Treme Series 2 UB myself. So good to see these in NZ. I noticed the white Van on the way back its leg! s were pointing backwards, was this a user error as the Graphite one legs were fwd to the wheels and tucked in, or is the white one an older model, when are the latest gen coming to NZ? since you guys are in Arrowtown ,Nevis, Garston to Bannockburn, then hit the Thomsons Gorge road, Tarras side to Ranfury side then head up over the Danseys, could do Omarama Saddle but might be a bit too Xtreme, then go the back route via Kurow through the Hakataramea Valley back of the Waitaki Lakes come out at Dog Kennel Corner above Burkes Pass, be a pretty good run back to CHCH🤘
How good! What a trip that would’ve been. As for the legs, we just packed up in a rush (snow was melting) and didn’t think. Fine on the road, not off-road. Need to be swung inwards. New stock arriving all the time! Come in a check some out. That sounds like an awesome trip we’ll keep it in mind!
Guys this is a great video. Great to see where these caravans can go and I would really love to see more of this kind of content. Really interested to see where else you can take them
Great video! My only suggestion is that the girls get more involved. Speak to your female audience and tell us (my wife) what's so great about parking up for the night in these random locations with a fully heated self-contained comfy unit. I mean, the boys have their fun, but what's in it for my wife?? Come on, Ladies - add that dynamic - have your say! Convince my wife that we need an off-road camper! And take the piss out of your partners while doing it. They deserve it. Also - boys - man to man - I'd like more of a damage report in the next one if you can. Where were the campers good, and where were they bad - what broke and what sucked. Some serious pointers there, folks - take them or leave them - thanks for the video! Nice work! :)
if you want a challenge head up the rangitata river you should be good to the Forbes stream don't think you will get to mistake flat hut if you take the trailers off can go all the way to st winifreds hut
@@FortisCaravans you want to head to the Curtis mamorial hut after the growler hut is a grass island that comes out from the below the curtis hut aim for the bottom of that is a good track on it to the curtis hut from there is not to bad to st winifreds hut need to walk your line when you get close to st winifreds hut. Stay away from the forbs is a bouldery shit of a stream get a new dint in my front diff every time i go near it.
Epic video lads. I'm Wanaka based and have been up Macaulay Hutt myself so I know that was a good effort!
Cheers mate! We thought so too

Thanks mate! Its an awesome part of the world to explore.
Freaken beautiful footage! Wow. Gorgeous trailers and good looking trucks. Fun to watch. Thanks
Jezz man, you sure gave those caravans some shit, thought they were going to tip over at some stage, saw them at mystery creek this year, look good.

Omarama saddle has a few very sharp bends in steep country from memory….

TRAMPING IN A 4X4 WITH CARAVAN SWEEEEEET
We love it!
Love from 🇮🇳
42 traverse next
Just to clear things up the older px3 rangers are way better offroad than the new ones. 10 gears is wayyy to many in low ratio.
