Amazing. It is insane that kids watch TikTok and Instagram videos when they could be watching you do incredible things. Going to try my first carving soon.
It's amazing how easily you made it look like that owl's sitting on a stack of books! Thanks for the tips, I'm gonna try this chainsaw carving thing soon, I hope. =)
Alberta boy says. ....I'm speechless. ...a 1st 1 yr anniversary of carving for me. ...improvement Huge...way to go -far.....fun factor-"sky high"....just want to thank u for your help....18 different varieties. ...good enough to have all been bought except 1 kind....my Cobra and he is specified MIME. Hi Ryan, If you ever have a small gathering for us fairly newbie carvers, I would be more than happy to be a part of it and I know another dude on the coast who would be too 😉🤗 We watch your videos and you're fantastic teaching thanks
Dude this just helped me. I can downscale my carvings and use 6 by 6 cedar posts or even 12 by 12 cedar posts. I love your style and your my favorite carver. Thank you for all the videos you've posted. You have helped me tremendously with technique. Awesome quick carve.
Love your work and channel. But let's face it, not too many of us beginners or even seasoned carvers are going to have all those different tools. I have a dremmel with flex shaft and some bits. Thanks for your channel and teaching.
So, is an 8in dimebar a skinnier chain than a 12in dimebar? Or is it just used to get down closer in, with probably, a bit more control for the detail?
Hi Ryan, beautiful work. Can you put a Saburrtooth eye bit on a Dremel 4300 or do you have to buy a die grinder? Would like to know which tools to get for eyes if and when I get to that stage. Thanks :)
Just WOW!!! Amazing is all I can say!!! What is the name of the burr you are using to burn the detail lines to the face? I haven't had any luck getting any of mine to burn like that. Excellent work, Friend!
Great Videos Ryan... WE need people like you on you tube... Where can I purchase the eyeball bits? I live in Scotland. Many thanks for your inspiration.
Wow,16 Min.Owl ? That's $562.50 an Hour .. I need to come out of retirement and start carving Owl's? Watch for Jordy, He's catching up to you..See ya. Very Nice ..
