Simple OWL CARVING - TUTORIAL

Hello folks. Today I'm getting a bunch of Owl Carvings made and wanted to show how I make them.
This Chainsaw Carving Tutorial will hopefully give you a good start in the right direction. This is just how I like to make them, and I wanted to show how I use a bunch of different tools to create my owls. Hopefully everyone has a Merry Christmas. How ironic! At about 9:12 is when I was thinking, "I think he's becoming owlish at this point". Haha. Jk. Great video! I've always been reluctant to try an owl, but I think you are building my confidence. Gotta tell you, I am tearing through Christmas gnomes now and the orders keep coming in. What make is that carving bar plus what sprocket is on the ms 170 chainsaw... Please,

The carving bar is a tsumara, and the 1/4 pitch sprocket is a Stihl sprocket I ordered from dealer

I’m not the best eagle guy. If you look at my Facebook @glowingjacks you can see pictures of one I done not to long ago. I would just try to find a lot of references, that always helps me.
