I wished I would have watched this video when you first published it. You have a wonderful way of soothing your audience, just by being yourself. I have only recently gotten back to the things that I love and the things that bring me joy. It was a couple of months there that I was frozen and stuck in an alternate universe, in which nothing of my old life seemed interesting or important. Bit by bit I literally forced myself to get back to my planners and journals, and that simple act of getting back to a routine sparked joy again. You new little tn is lovely; I always prefer no pen, it looks so sleek and slim. You're the first one who taught me about rolling, years ago!
Oh Dawni, you are so sweet and I am so grateful for your patronage and friendship. Yes this time has been very challenging however the silver lining is that it has given me much time to pause and think about how I want to live my life. From that I have started to make many changes including seriously decluttering my home. I guess that means letting go of a lot of journals and fountain pens too - Yikes!! Your introductory comments were very interesting and comforting to me. So many of those I follow have chosen not to comment much or at all on the current situation we're all in and I understand that, too, their wanting to provide a brief respite from distressing thoughts and feelings. But I also can't help feeling, as you said you do, that so many things seem so trivial now in light of the life and death situation we're facing every day. So your addressing that before your unboxing helped me enjoy it without hesitation or distracting "guilty" feelings. It was also very reassuring to hear your experience with your art. I have similarly found myself unable to work on mine (writing), which has been adding to my distress. It's good to know I am not alone in this either. So thank you so much. So glad you and yours are together and well here in California. I feel luckier than ever that I live here and wish everybody had a Governor Newsom!

I think if we don’t express how we are really feeling, it just grows bigger. Most of us fear the unknown, suffering & pain, I certainly do. Yes we have much to be grateful for, especially here in California and Gov. Newsom has been spectacular. I can imagine how hard it has been for you to write - virtually impossible I would think!
