    Audi is making the best looking cars in the game right now. The RS6 wagon is sick.

    Matt,.............3:18..hit the start button "and it roars to life." 1:10....futuristic headlights and "I like the little dance that they do." Matt, you are really enhancing your delivery of your videos. Great that Audi recognizes that providing you with this vehicle is a good decision.

    The red color makes the car. - Especially with the black accents. - Cool Review!

    With the S and RS cars with the 8ZF, you gotta brake torque for at least 3-4 seconds to get max launch performance (at 11:52 that was probably not even one second). Also, ALWAYS drive the 8ZF in at least Sport mode. Even Dynamic is abysmal for response - it'll even want to start in 2nd gear and other nonsense.

    Imagine if Audi made this an All-road version of this with balck fenders that sloping roof-line. Would be absolutely stunning.

  • @IReahpZz
    @IReahpZz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The problem now with pricing is this or a Tesla model s plaid for similar price. Plaid is In a whole nother league but this Def has the interior edge and the v8 sounds pretty good. Kinda insane that price wise it's in that level though. Either way always loved the rs7

    • @ReaversRespite
      @ReaversRespite 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think that you'll have more smiles over the long term with the RS7. Once you get over the initial shock (brain melting thrust) of the EV drivetrains, you don't have the overall joy and experience that you get in the upper echelon German ICE cars.
      Take one for a test drive!

    • @IReahpZz
      @IReahpZz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ReaversRespite I mean I'm after big power. My daily currently is a 3 that does 11s and its still hasn't lost its charm a year later. I though it would to be honest. I have far faster weekend toys but for a daily Evs really kill gas cars. Going 0-155 in 9 seconds on the street is really insanity. And every time you think your car might be getting boring take it to an auto X event or the drag strip and proceed to whoop anything you considered trading it for. I've driven the prior Gen rs7 and s6 was nice but not worth the money to me. Even at 60-70 for a used one at the time.
      It's just hard to justify if all you want is power and practicality. Cost to own is also insanely cheap for the Evs.

    • @ReaversRespite
      @ReaversRespite 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@IReahpZz I'm probably just biased! I get very little joy from EVs. No sounds, sights, no drop top, no rowing gears.
      Straight line highway speed is fun. Unfortunately, I can't really use it in the US. And long term costs over the lifetime of the vehicle are about the same as an ICE vehicle, when you take into account battery replacement and the initial cost premium over an ICE vehicle.
      I'm just over here praying that Porsche pulls off a Hail Mary with their eFuel. 😂

    • @IReahpZz
      @IReahpZz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ReaversRespite that's fair again I have my weekend toys and I'd like to think most people dropping 130k on a sedan have other cars or could if they wanted.
      Again I have 2 built stangs that have run 8s beating a plaid and coating about as much
      As for the speed argument I go to the track but I have fun on the roads in the US 😂 time and a place for everything. I've dropped most of my manuals as I'm getting old and manual tech is just falling. I have my one manual car with around 500whp that's a blast but it's not as fun as the built 10 speed car.
      The initial cost is much cheaper even and battery replacements aren't common. I save roughly 7-10k a year just based on gas costs without including oil changes and service. Coming from a 500 hp fusion sport as the prior daily anyways.
      I think for a daily driver it can't be beat. If you have to have one car sure the rs7 is a blast but if rather an a7 with 2k in mods or an s7 with downpipe and tune and get a 20-40k older stang or 911 or vette for that weekend toy. Just me talking though I know everyone is different and I'm not anti gas or anything they are a blast.

    Are you going to start doing 4k videos at any point in time? 1080p looks bad on TVs

    • @MattMaranMotoring
      @MattMaranMotoring  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'll switch eventually, it's just a big investment to do so, primarily with upgrading my computer to handle editing 30 minute 4k videos, but also with upgrading a couple of the cameras I use. I'm not in a hurry because nearly 70% of my views come from mobile devices, and of the computers and TVs that are used for watching the videos, not all are 4k capable. Even still, I know it's something I need to do and I'm hoping to make the switch sometime next year. Thank you for sharing your experience, it gives me insight into what other TV watchers might be experiencing too.
