Realistic is she scores a mid 14 on UB, breaks 14 on BB and can hit 54AA by Trials. If she's consistent with UB/BB and Suni or Skye are not then she has a solid chance as the ONE specialist they might name to the team. I can see them naming her and Suni as traveling alts just for the media blitz of having 3 AA champions "on the team".
I love gabbys gymnastics, however i dont feel like she can score over 14 that easily, not the way things are today with execution.Perhaps on the uneven bars...floor, no way, beam...has to connect everything,.which is hard.
Very difficult to score 14 on floor this quad. In the last World Champions, only Simone, Rebeca and Jessica scored 14+ on floor and beam scores were only slightly better so yes it will not be easy scoring 14+ on those two.
If Valeri gives her efficient 5.7D without much D score fluctuation Front 1/1 (C) + full in (E) Double Arabian (E) + stag (A) 1.5 twist (C) + double tuck (D) Double L turn / Memmel turn to double turn combo (D+B) Switch ring (C) + split 1/1 (C) I will spare Valeri for once😶
VERY curious to see if she’ll get credited for the switch ring. If she doesn’t her difficulty will only decrease by .2, might as well go for it. I’m feeling more positive about the split ring jump though
In this is the problem with Gabby…..she may be able to do these skills but is she consistent? So many of these videos are from 2016. Her consistency is the issue and there’s not enough time to show the selection committee she is consistent
Only 3 passes??? There is a lot of time wasted doing nothing dancing in this routine...give her her arabian back tuck and her double pike, double tucks are so 80's....
Do you know that Nina did two passes (with a double tuck, 1.5 twist to front full), and still ranked top 10 on floor in Tokyo and cleared half of US floors? Floor is the lowest scoring event, and there is no point to do 4 passes with her dance difficulty.
@@aliciamcdonald7105 Tokyo's judging doesn't deviate a lot from this quad. Nina the two-pass queen would have still cleared one of Gabby's biggest haters who couldn't do a 180 degree switch leap in this code.
@@cocoroni1031 I am not sure who you are referencing when you speak of 'one of Gabby's biggest haters' and that has NOTHING to do with my comment. NO 5.0 difficulty floor is going to even CRACK a thirteen score in this quad I promise you, not while ones of a 5.6 and up are barely scoring 13.5+

I think she should take out either the switch ring or L turn on beam And she should do the front 1/1 to double tuck if the stamina is not there. I also think she should try the switch ring 1/2 over the Ferrari
She should take out both, but Valeri will not listen... Also, her split 1/1 is better far far better than switch ring 1/2 or Ferrari. Execution on dance element is more important than +0.1D but -0.4E
Just cuz I’m gabbys biggest fan, some unrealistic upgrades to this floor routine could be: Back tuck out of her combination pass with the full in double for an extra 0.2 in direct acro CV Double Arabian into stag leap instead of the double tuck for another 0.2 in difficulty+CV 5.9 for your realistic D score and 6.3 for my unrealistic D score
@@colesmith7509 where do u see that in the COP cuz I don’t see it under CV section for FX (section 13.4). I only see a caveat for “rebounding” under the balance beam section
@@alexi8741 It has to be a direct connection. Gabby doesn't even need a 5.9D floor. She just needs a 5.5-5.7D and clean floor. This code works in Gabby's favor and she doesn't need such difficulty on this lowest scoring event. A clean 5D Japanese floor could clear two 5.7D Japanese floors domestically. Nina already showed that a 5D floor could clear half of the USA's floors in Tokyo. So she doesn't need some questionable connections or dance elements to tank her E score.
I don't see anyone doing that. They're just looking at the various skills Gabby has done, and they're discussing whether they think she could put those skills together to form competitive routines. It's pretty fun, and it's completely harmless. 😊

Why realistic ? She didn’t perform a full routine. Is just collages
It’s all skills that we know she can do/we have seen her do recently

@@brianpatterson1827 Yes that would be perfect! Her D score will just vary by 0.1, not 0.3 (E to B for double L combo).
Her form! I've always loved it. All the best Gaby.
I feel like she should bring back the endo grip in her bar routine for connection bonus.
I would drop all the ring positions from her BB and FX, not worth the deductions and she might not even get credit for attempting them.

Gabby can keep ring jump! I don't want her to add switch ring TBH. It's +0.2D at best but -0.3E at least, unless she shows a better ring position.
@@cocoroni1031 was thinking this as well but they might decide it’s worth the risk and easily take it out if it’s consistently weighing her down
