WOW! Never realised Greece had such awesome waves. Loved the "sunset" effect- not unlike the 70's surf movies of old. Damn shame to see tagging on signs and structures in Greece- it's everywhere I guess. Thanks for the post.
Stealing spraypaint cans to be a "guerilla artist" : another fashionable excuse for rampant ego flex. By contrast we have surfers like these who leave no trace by not naming spots.. bravo to a righteous project.
@@VasjaStankovic The video is supposed to have been filmed in Greece. Here on Oahu, I have not seen a wave large enough to ride in 3 months. Soon I hope it picks up.
I don't how they time this. It's not so much the spot. But whether or not the med is pumping any swell. It's not as consistent or long lasting as the Pacific.
I think one of them is in Argilos, Peloponnese. The other one is probably near there too, quite sure somewhere on the west coast of the Peloponnese peninsula.
God bless Mt Athos. Glad u got surfing fun, stoke in Greece. Hi from Australia ❤😊
definetely a place worth visiting. I will put it "on my list" and visit it as soon as we can travel again.

I can recommend Karteros Beach in Crete because I had 3 to 4.5 meter high waves. It is quite open and is close to the airport (so a lot of wind)
How consistent is it surfable
...body surfed pumping pumping waves in Crete in 1986 - had no stick. Swell lasted 1 Day. One.
Good waves. The surf and surfing in this vid are ten times bigger and better than here today. Flat to 6 inches out front with 200+ people out.
Where is the spot you're talking about? I just found there's a legit surf scene in Greece for the first time in my life, gotta check it out ASAP!
@@VasjaStankovic The south coast of Oahu.
Oahu? I thought this was filmed in Greece?

The second one must be Agrilos, Messinia. I don't know about the first one, but it should be around there as well - maybe Lagkouvardos.

What time of year was this
So someone actually listened to this song and thought, yeah let's make others hear it too! Good surfing at least.
Yea- should've been ABBA!
@@sandhopper599 It should have been the sounds of nature, the waves breaking are enough lol

Inches of boards??
καλή σερφ
How many times a year would you get this kind of waves? Why bother ? Whilst you can wind surf or kite surf almost every week?

That infernal Music ruined my viewing experience, should've stuck with the Greek Music.
