I have trouble when people make demands on me. I am definitely more responsive to novelty and fantasy play, and resistant to anything or anyone that removes my personal autonomy. That said, I do have routines I follow, and find that I don't do well when my routines are broken. Good info in the video. Thank you so much. No #mishaguyas and I'm subscribing.

I very much have the pervasive drive for autonomy but I hate it when people ruin my routine or structure. I can chose to be spontaneous but if someone try’s to tell to be spontaneous I get agitated.

That’s very common for PDA, I share those traits too ❤️

@@NoPressurePDA but I hate surprises and spontaneity. I don’t know, I relate to this but feel the opposite at the same time.

It’s very common for PDA’ers to hate other people’s surprises or spontaneous suggestions, the important thing is us having control over our own choices and us being able to choose different things on a whim, it a matter if us having control and flexibility for ourselves. It’s one reason why PDA is difficult to understand from the outside

@@NoPressurePDA thanks, I think I’m going to ask about PDA when I get my autism assessment.

You may want to connect online via Facebook to get advice on assessing if you’re in the UK. I like the Facebook group PDA Universal
