Related, unrelated. As an introvert with anxiety and a hairstylist, I wish ‘quiet’ salons were a bigger thing. We discuss how you want your hair, then just stay silent and listen to some nice music or a podcast of the clients choice.
I feel like it would be much more enjoyable for both parties. I hate small talk.

I kinda hate it too, but my apartment's parquet floors are that colour so I kind of just have to go with it (like my dining table, etc) because I also have OCD and don't like non-matching woods xD
my room also has that wood color and guess what more. it is light green colored with... ORANGE accents. i'm a dark purple, black and pastels girl and i have orange on my bed wall along with that wood :') my parents really thought they did something when they choose the orange tangerine on the catalog

Sometimes they might not always be a positive response but right now I feel like the lilsimsie community is very engaging toward one another and toward Kayla.
We will get through 2020 together whether we want to or not so might as enjoy the ride.

They couldn't get it to work without breaking other things in the game. Which is why if you watch people's early access videos on it they can use the patio. But for full release it kept breaking so they took it out
You know how you can update the neighbourhood and it will change the houses and apartments? Well, that balcony's wood decoration glitched when you did that so instead of looking for a solution the sims team just straight up took away the option to build in it.
Rant: you know what makes me mad about it? the fact that when Ecolifestyle was being showcased by Game Changers the option to build in that balcony area was still available, and only after they released it to the public (or just some days before it i cant remember exactly) they SILENTLY, IN A SKETCHY WAY, removed that feature in the name of said glitch instead of addressing it publicly. And all of that because they wanted to keep their stupid wood decoration thing.

Isabela Rivas ikr I think it’s always so awkward especially when the hairdresser is like 10 years older than you and they just ask you about the most generic things that you don’t have a good answer too and you can’t start up a conversation and when they ask you to like tilt your head down and all that so you end up talking to the floor and you’re trapped under the cape and you need to touch your face for some reason and in the end you wind up staring at yourself in the mirror and feel uncomfortable.....feels very awkward

I really felt that.
For a different layout, you could have had the bedrooms lining the left side of the house, one of them would have the balcony which might be kind of annoying because of the massively obnoxious door, but I would still work.
You’d then have all the other stuff on the right side of the house, this way both bedrooms have windows, and if you put the living room at the back of the house, it has that massive window there.
I haven’t seen any youtubers do this layout but I think it could work.

@@maddie7392 My cat is more cuddly with my boyfriend, which not gonna lie really sucks 😂 Eh, whatever he chose his person I suppose. My husky used to be really troublesome (she broke into a farmers garage and massacred 60ish rabbits, stole entire steaks off of the kitchen table, pooped on my bed because I left, ect) But she's a lot older now and basically sleeps the day away so the most trouble she causes is wetting the bed now and then because her medicine makes her thirsty.
She's a sweet and timid girl so I guess that's why we get along so well. She's my pride and joy

Okay but i thought i was the only one that felt like this! My dad was a musician and he plays many instruments and knows a lot about music, and he has very like... non-mainstream taste? So I always think he would judge me and say that my music taste is boring or something..
I legitimately cannot listen to my favourite music with other people. Even if I know they're into the same band, or if the band is popular, I won't recommend music and I won't choose music. Music is such a personal, and subjective thing, and it makes it hard to share. If you play a song about being in an abusive relationship, or about hating yourself or something, people will assume that's your experiences.

Final note and then I will be on my marry way: I feel like one thing the Sims Team can work on is tile selection but also, if they want us to stop criticizing their builds, they should give us more apartments. We literally cannot change the windows or walls or the layout. Every renovation video would instantly become a Shell Challenge with the creators being the Sims Team.

I actually am fine with how their apartments look. I just wish that they need to allow us to build apartments wherever we want, or at least give more worlds that have them. It doesn’t make sense to me that Evergreen Harbor, a world that takes inspiration from Alaskan shipping cities have apartments, while Del Sol Valley, which is directly based off of LA, doesn’t.

Yeah, the times when I felt my absolute worst was when I turned to the Sims: 1, 2, and 3 (less so 4 but then I play 4 less overall.) I play it when I'm happy too but it can be very engaging and a good distraction if I'm ill or in pain. :)

In the fall when she had the back to back university let’s plays (Gertrude followed by her Vanderbilt legacy) she mentioned that she wanted to return to both in the future. I think Gertrude would be an amazing character to do a wheel spin because she’s such a chaotic (yet iconic) character to begin with, so I think it’d be funny to see just how much more chaos she can create with the wheel, especially since the Sims 3 gives so many more opportunities to either ruin or glorify your Sims lives. Also, I think Elena, Nelson and/or Nicole (Depending on who she chooses to center her let’s play around) deserve a break since they’ve had a really rough childhood.

I was looking through debug and found hanging plants, why were people complaining that there aren’t any hanging plants before nifty knitting?
I think the ones in debug attach to a wall, while the ones in Knitting hang from the ceiling. At least I know some in debug are for walls. Also, debug ones have to be raised with cheat keys and it's annoying. And they don't look very good anyway.

THANK YOU! We DO need more neutral rugs! The rugs are absurdly extra and though sometimes that works great, sometimes you just want a nice calm floor covering.
when i'm sad or in a crappy mood, i open up the sims 4 and forget about all of my problems and anxieties, lol and i get into a much better mood. sims 4 is an escape for me. SAME!!! i had a really bad headache yesterday and just shut my eyes and listen to sims videos, lmao.
