Darryl, the first 30 minutes of your video had me wondering if you were abused by a TailStock in your youth! It's absence was driving me crazy. If you had brought up the TailStock to form the basic cone it would have been done in three minutes! That said, you have an artist's eye for curves and proportions. Beautiful Finial!!! Well doing one phinial I do not see any problem, the problem arises when you have to do more that one how to keep the dimensions aesthetically the same same!!!!
