Hey! Thanks so much for watching this video. If you're looking for another fun bikepacking video, I just released my experience on the Colorado Trail. th-cam.com/video/jzCxqzYeUf0/w-d-xo.html
I really hope that you enjoy watching this. It has a much different feel than the series, mainly because I took out the music. I want you to experience it the way we did, without music influencing your emotions. It was a monumental experience for me on so many levels, and I'm forever grateful to Ali for saying yes to this adventure. And even though Ali and I are no longer together, (we're still friends) the advice we got from all these strangers was powerful, and I use that wisdom in every interaction that I have with people. What is your love advice? Please share below.
My wife and I have been married for nearly 29 years and we often cynically joke that the secret to a successful marriage is just learning how to put up with each other's crap. I actually think there is some intuitive wisdom in that somewhat off-putting statement. It's so easy to focus on the negative, but instead, we try to look past that and see the positive attributes in each other. So far it's seemed to work for the past 29 years.
Your partner will always be changing; always growing or decreasing. Find someone with the same values as you, that is growing and spurs you on to growth. This is always balanced with space to let the other person be who they are and not hold onto them (or your ideal of them) too tightly; otherwise you will suffocate them. It’s two seemingly conflicting ideas, bet there is a balanced tension between the two. Challenge each other but except each other. (7 year married and two kids into the adventure)
Life without love is not impossible however it is a low level of human consciousness, like War, is hell... love is the first great gift of life... Yet relationship alone is not our ultimate purpose, at this moment in history, we all have a greater calling, to confront... every day that passes while Justice is being obstructed, the fabric of our false fictional reality contains a little less love... This challenges the wholeness of each of our individual beings, makes us wobbly, and less likely to have a firm footing for commitment to having something left over, for someone else. We are all struggling... in the womb we learn to love ourselves and life itself first, before we actually even meet anyone else... And that's something that we should give ourselves permission to hold onto firmly throughout life. And we all need to come to an urgent Epiphany in a timely fashion... Collective Consciousness rising to a critical mass, understanding the problem and seeing the solution... We are all like Oliver now asking for more porridge from the bullies... We have to make our standing Military Officers understand, that we understand that they, and no one else holds the keys, the Constitutional keys, to peacefully and constitutionally , ending the abuse of both our military and civilians., the flora and fauna and Planet itself.. all of the years combined to this moment, and justice, judgment and dignity are long overdue to arrive... have you ever seen the movie Blue Velvet? We are stuck in the middle of that movie and need to get onto the ending. Where love is restored and the birds can sing. The Secret Of Love Is Love thyself first... And then love everyone else equally.., LOL except the fascists they have some punishment to face... We don't have to make it intentionally unpleasant.... some people need tougher love than others
This is great...i love the comments. I got off the Hamster wheel of life and did early retirement. Sometimes i wonder why i even ware a watch...i don't have to be anywhere. I did 42 years trucking. And after my wife died in February of 2018 i called it quits and came to the Philippines. Lots to see and do. And for me ebiking and slowing down is the way to see this beautiful country...thanks for the inspiration love the videos.
This was beautiful. i’m 16 and the one thing i know i wanna do with my life is to see the world on my bike, hearing all the sounds of the earth, meeting incredible people, sleeping under the stars. thank you so much for posting this, i watched the whole thing and let me tell ya, i enjoyed every moment of it. You seem to have such a beautiful soul, you and ali both. maybe one day we will meet on my biking journeys, you’re an inspiration.
do it and do it all before 35 year old,, that my biggest regret, just do it and if its hard remember that its now or never , dont be full of regrets ;)
35 about to be 36 and planning to ride across Canada as soon as provincial boarders relax hopefully next summer!... your never too old!...as Warren Miller says if you don't do it this year you will be one year older when you do!
My melancholy level rose quite a bit watching this. Hey, at least you got to live it and it will always be part of your past. Instead of being sad about the split, you have those wonderful memories.
You are a lovely, inspiring guy, Ryan. I've come back to your channel today and watched through this entire (short) film whilst doing some clerical work. I know I've said it before but I will say it again: Thank you so very much for sharing your films with the rest of us. They are fantastic in both quality and content. You live in a beautiful contry on a beautiful continent. Thank you for sharing your part of the world with the rest of us!
I can't believe you just published this on a Tuesday. I have so much work for this week. Yeah... I need to prioritize and work. Darn you Ryan, I'll come back for this. I WILL COME BACK FOR THIS!
Great camera work, great editing, great audio. Great story. Great documentary. I've cycled (halfway) across America before and I can't imagine doing all of this camera work. I love this guy's personality!
You are a really nice person . I hope you find your true love, to grow old with and ride bicycle with throughout eternity. Thanks for sharing your life’s experiences.
I think all of us cycle tourers have watched a lot of these by now but that was really special. Pure joy and awe you've managed to convey through your film.
what a magical and amazing experience. Thank you for taking us along on this journey. Sorry to hear about you and Ali but I'm happy you are still friends.
It took for me 3-4 sessions to finish it!!! yeeeiii!! You all, my very favorite part in on min 25:00 (24:56): "...the main thing is keep God in your lives"... this man know what he's saying, I know. I keep praying for you (Duzer and Ali) and for yall reading, may you be able to see how He's drawing you to Him every single day... love yall... greetings from Guadalajara, Mex. (PS I'm very thankful that now I had incorporated too many burritos to my diet!! Me and my wife started cycling on the pandemic, got new treks 520grando -for the wife- and 920 -for this man!!! so excited!! Thanks Duzer, Ali and you all!)
wow!!!!! I love bike riding and I've been cycling for over a year now, and I've recently brought an e-bike. Before I go to sleep, I like to watch youtube videos about bikes, and I woke up at 6am and saw your video, and so I started it from the beginning and I watched the whole thing. What an amazing experience and the breathtaking views had me hooked. The connection you shared with each other and others was so beautiful, made me look at life so differently. I'm 33yr black male from Birmingham in England UK, and I've never seen anything like this! Thank you for sharing, and I'm so sorry to hear that you and your sweet partner are no longer 1, that really made my eyes fill with tears as I was so invested in the both of you's. Thank you for this video ❤
Super awesome video! Also really amazing to see how just a few weeks of riding changes her body. She was thin and pretty when she started, but man she was absolutely cut when it ended. And the guy who started riding to save his heart. Cycling can keep you young, keep you fit, take you amazing places, and meet amazing people ❤
Unless you've added additional content, I've already seen this entire series. BUT! I'm saying that because I'm sitting here tonight watching it again, from start to finish. This was one of the the best TH-cam series of human connections I've ever seen. It's sad the two of you went separate ways (which I respect) but you two had such a dynamic connection most of the world yearn for. Thank you Ryan. Thank you Ali. Thank you.
There is some new stuff in there for sure, and it has a much different feel without music. I want the audience to experience it the way we did, without dramatic music influencing emotions. I appreciate you watching this and following my channel
OMG, that dad talking about being married for 17 years and then travelling with his daughter and talking about working things out by talking while being on tour. The love between him and his daughter is awesome, backed up by the way she hugged him. Awesome.
One of the best videos on the entire TH-cam. I started watching this morning, went to work then came home and finished it all. It's hard to accept that you guys are not together after that experience but I know u had fun doing it and that's all that matters.
Hi there, i'm Cyril from south of France. Juste one big big big thank you for this life lesson. Adventure, love, dream, nature, all conditions are reunited to remind everyone that nothing is stronger than Love and willpower. Bravo Bravo Bravo. Je vous aime !!!!!!!!!! Vive la vie !!!! Warm hug to you. All the best to you all overthere. Cyril.
I loved the focus on your relationship with Ally. Your break up must be really hard for you both, so its nice to have these great videos to look back on a beautiful chapter in your life. I hope you are able to recognize the things that didnt work and commit to fixing them as you move on and find a new love.
I'm only 22 years old, but I'm going to start training for this now! This is definitely an inspiration to push myself to greater limits and mark this off of my bucket list. Absolutely loved the video guys, you killed it!
There is something about being out in the middle of nothingness. Feeling vulnerable, but not scared. And being aware of your awareness. Great work Ryan. Ride on Brother. Much love
A very timely conversation you had at minute 38 about when you talked about what loving their spouse means & that everyone becomes at least a little vulnerable and are all on the same page. Thanks for this. Beautiful.
oh man this takes me places. Watching this gets me reminiscing about my own start in cycling. I started watching your videos sometime before this series, I got my own bike (a Trek 920) in february in 2018 as a means to end my unhealthy lifestyle, be active and "Getting out there!" It was tough, and the first few months, especially starting cycling in the winter in Iceland didn't make it any easier. My interest in cycling and staying active was kind of getting to a low point. Then a turning point happened. Summer came along, biking got easier, I started noticing progress and Love Cycles came out. It all got me much more motivated and I started spending a lot more days in the saddle, miles started racking up and touring on my bike didn't seem a far distant goal anymore. Now in 2021 I am a much healthier person, a keen cyclist and I ride my bike most days and rack up the miles, and have gone on bike tours every summer and went out exploring. Two goals this summer which is to complete a mile century on my roadbike and tour the Westfjords here in Iceland. The Love Cycles series also inspired me to ask my grandparents about their relationship. They had been together for nearly 70 years and while sadly my grandmother passed away in september of that year, then I will always cherish one of my last conversations with her which was inspired by Ali and Ryans quest for love advice. To put it simply, stay together, act as one, be inclusive in all your decisions, cherish the time you spend together and have each other interest at heart in every aspect of your lives. That was probably my last lucid conversation I had with her, and for that I will always be grateful. We need more space in our hearts for love, compassion, empathy and thoughtfulness towards one another. The message this series brings to its audience is exactly what we need, joy towards one another, finding love, even though it does not last, is time not wasted but to be cherished as that brought happiness and fulfilment into your heart. Bringing love to another person who appreciates it, will always bring joy into your life. Making someone smile brings you closer to them and creates a connection towards one another that may or may not last the rest of your lifetime, either way it is to be cherished, preserverd and admired. Thank you Ryan and Ali for creating this, series like these can have a profound impact on someone's wellbeing and quality of life. Please know that you have made a huge difference in mine. Best wishes from Iceland Andri Freyr
Andri!! I always love your comments, thanks so much for taking the time to write this. I'm gonna meet you in Iceland someday, I PROMISE!!! Happy Trails, my friend
I have never watched anything on TH-cam for 2 hours but this was amazing. First....the fact that you did it and then you beautifully filmed it ( complete with great drone shots ) and then edited it! Brilliant! Kudos from all of us who have wanted to do this, but never had the time to. Adventure of a lifetime.
Thank you for sharing this Ryan. It was beautiful, inspiring and brought me to tears on several occasions. It reminds me a lot my travels, bringing up a lot of emotion as I reflect on the transient nature of lovership & connection with folk I’ve experienced on the journey. Lots of love to you!
26:28 - Those darn cows! They sure can be a noisy bunch! Actually, that's one thing I treasure about cycling on quiet rural roads. Every now and then you can stop and just hear nothing but the sound of the wind and a few birds chirping in the distance. Priceless!
Probably not the most productive 2 hours I've had at work recently, but this has been so worth it! 😊 I felt a little sad for you, knowing what was to come (with Ali) but boy, such a beautiful thing you've created, Ryan. Not sure that I know anyone who loves life more than you! Keep safe and well!
haha, please don't tell your boss, haha! I was sad when we broke up, but now those feelings have given way to gratitude for what we experienced together. Thanks for watching this my man!
@@duzer still working from home, so all good on that front 🤣. I’m really glad your mind is in a good place with this. This adventure is still incredibly awesome!
Took me a few days to finish watching all of this. I don't have the words to describe what a great work of art this is. So many people and places, i can't imagine what a life changing experience this must have been. I hate to hear that you and Ali's relationship didn't work out, but at least you have this video and all of the memories. Your positivity is infectious, thank you for sharing all of these personal experiences for us to enjoy.
This was an absolute joy to rewatch in all of its condensed glory! With the passage of time, I hope it was just as joyful for you to relive those memories, Ryan. You and Ali experienced one awe inspiring adventure together, and undoubtedly something to look back on in astonishment. 😀
Don't forget, they also had big fights, and very often this long journey was quiet boring. Personaly, I would never do such a long trip with my girlfriend, never!
I am on my 3rd marriage BUT it has lasted 23 yrs so far...my love advice is..always be honest! Whenever we get into an argument I remind Bob I am in this relationship for the long-haul, so lets figure it out. Seems to work we are still in love and enjoying each others company. Thanks for all these reminders of how special life is!!
In all these years on TH-cam, this is the first long video I watched in it's entirely. What a trip, the USA is so beautiful! Hope to ride there one time.
In '86, I rode solo from San Francisco to Seattle, the Seattle to DC, then up to New York. I remember Astoria well. One of my cartridge bearing froze on the front wheel. A bike shop inn Astoria had the one I needed. couldn't believe it. Not one issue the rest of the trip. Not even a flat. What a great way to get a taste of America. Did much the same route you did to Chicago but went a bit more south after that to DC. Experience of a life time to carry with you forever. loved it but won't do it again.
You have inspired me. I'm 65, just got a pacemaker in May and I have a deposit on a used Trek at the local bike shop. Losing weight, eating healthier, going to the gym.... feeling great.
Here I am countdown 3 months away to my trip from Maine to Chicago I'm watching this movie for the fifth time. We miss you Ryan hope you get better brother. No crashes no whammys no flatties
Excellent film making! I'm an avid mountain biker and can only dream in going on adventure like this. It is heart warming to see a different side of our great country, the wonderful people and breath taking sceneries. To be able to share this awesome experience with someone you love is priceless.
Love watching these long edit videos - true inspiration Ryan. Best to you in the future, as well to Ali with whatever it is she has going on. Cheers man
I finished watching your Honduras ride and then a couple of days later you drop this one? Amazing work. I enjoy watching your trips. They remind me of how much life there is to experience. You can get people reflecting on their own life through a lens. It’s a great gift! Gracias and keep them coming 👍
I had a pretty bad bicycle accident in July 2018 and followed you along as I rehabbed. I still have not put myself on a bicycle again but maybe... You’re videos, your attitude, your joy is so uplifting. My vicarious ride with you & Allie helped in my healing process. My love advice (33 years of marriage) is encouraging each other to grow and stand by each other through the rough times. When you truly love someone, their happiness is your happiness. I see another Lovecycle in your future. ❤️🚴♂️❤️🚴♀️❤️
When I first stumbled upon your channel a year or 2 ago, as a chef I thought your bean meals were pretty nasty. Now it's almost like I can't stop thinking about having a cold bean burrito. Your enthusiasm about them (and in general) is infectious! Keep em coming. These long edits without music are amazing.
Loved watching the edited version. As an adventure film maker in-training I find myself really appreciating the talent and experience you bring to these. Gracias!
I just discovered your channel and love all your stuff. I turned to bicycle riding a few years ago after a pre diabetes diagnosis....i lost 60 + Lbs and turned it all around. I guess bicycling save my life .... it's def my sweet obsession. Your video is epic sir....something this old fella can only dream of ....thanks for this it's very inspiring and congrats on your sobriety too!
I have raced bikes for years but cross country I feel is my true love. I peddled from Pensacola Florida to Disney in under 22hrs. Aveaged 21.8 mph for 400 miles. That was exciting but looking back on it all the training miles was the greatest part of it all. Maybe one day I will see you out there. If you ever go through Pensacola Florida I have plenty of space and my wife makes some amazing boritos.
Fantastic job of documenting your monumental cross country trip with Ali! Sorry that the relationship didn't endure but it's commendable that you've both remained friends! Your approach to life is both uplifting and inspiring Ryan as it shows that it's best to find the positives in every situation and in everyone we meet. Keep "getting out there" my friend and if you're ever in the Cary, NC area I'd love to join you on a ride or help replenish your food and beverages pouches along the way! We have about 250 miles of greenway trails here in the Triangle and the network continues to expand. Maybe you could consider riding the Maine to Florida East Coast greenway sometime? My next journey will be the 270 mile Florida Coast to Coast connector. Take care, Mark S
I only discovered your videos in the last month or so, so this was a completely new journey for me to watch. I'm sorry things between you and Ali didn't work out, but I hope you can both be happy with the memories of this amazing tour. I would love, love, LOVE to do a journey like this across Canada. Coast to coast from Cape Breton (or maybe Newfoundland) to British Columbia. But it's such a daunting task. I'm not in great shape these days and even an hour long bike ride takes it out of me. And I don't have anyone to join me along the way. I couldn't do a Canada-wide trek alone.
Dude I watched this video then I went and watched the whole damn series, mostly twice, cause I accidentally slept through some of it haha. I can't even count the amount of times I cried watching these videos. I plan on cycling the 800 mile Arizona Trail in October and as a very single, somewhat lonely guy your trip is the type of thing I dream about. As you mentioned there's those moments during the trip where you wish that you could share the experience with someone. And sadly those moments just make it tougher as the reality sets in that you're completely alone and usually isolated somewhere deep in the backcountry miles away from anyone... These videos made me happy and gave me hope that someday maybe I will have that opportunity. Also glad that you got to experience it as I watch some of your other videos you also seem to be kind of doing your own thing. In any case great videos man, well shot, great editing, perfect song choices, storytelling had great flow, etc. Keep spinning those pedals man and hope to see you on the trail in the future! Yeww! =D
Enhorabuena Ryan
I didn't notice that there wasn't music. But I did notice that I could hear the birds. Thanks for pointing that out. It's actually really nice to just hear the sound of being on the road.
Gracias amigo por tus palabras! Fue una experiencia inolvidable, y estoy muy feliz con este video, y feliz de que la gente le gusta! Espero que todo este bien contigo. Abrazos desde Boulder
I've recently started to road cycle and I've got my new bike coming this week so this video came at just the right time! I've been flirting with the idea of touring my home country of Wales and its a beautiful landscape for a touring bike and this video has convinced me to do it this summer! Wales (luckily for me) is much, much smaller than America so I'm hoping it will be a great starting tour! Thanks for the beautiful video
Great video Ryan! I joined your channel recently and I'm happy to have found your channel because you are an incredibly very positive person, thanks for inspiring me! next year I will cycle from Tallinn (Estonia) where I leave now to Verona (Italy) where my family leaves and I can't wait!
Finally cleaning my house room by room and getting a routine going. Before moving into action, watching your videos really helped me feel at home and ready to do good! Love you man!
Great compilation! I remember watching the series when my husband and I were getting ready to move to Colorado from Wisconsin. Miss seeing the fireflies for sure!
Leaving for a big tour on Friday and had to watch your videos every day. Leaving summit county Colorado for Portland then to the Canadian boarder. Riding my bike from Washington to the Mexican boarder then over to Florida. Leaving with pretty much nothing and making a small video on the kindness of others. I can't wait. Edit: forgot to say how much i loved this video. Might be your best. Im a sucker for love so i get it. Ironically im only able to take this trip now that im single after 9 years but still my favorite touring video. Just finished a few big trips and just need a year off.
Ryan, this is a chef d oeuvre and being with Ally make the difference from doing it alone, you will never forget that trip, so do I. Good luck on your future projects
This was epic and amazing! What a journey. And first rate cinematography. Thank you for taking us along on such an incredible journey Ryan. Glad you had someone special to share it with.
I really really loved this video. It inspired me to go on my first overnight bike trip actually. It also reminded me that the world is full of beautiful, nice and interesting people and that we shouldn't be afraid of exploring and meeting strangers. So thank you so much Ryan! Tomorrow I will be biking along the east and then north coast of Sealand in Denmark, starting from Copenhagen and I will for sure be thinking of you and Ali :)
What a fantastic vid. If the World would hear what you and the People you met say about love it would certainly be a better place. Bought tears to my eyes to hear what you heard on your trip. You should do a World Tour and spread the Love. AGAIN GREAT vid and thx for sharing it. Just wonderful.
Thanks for making these videos and sharing them with us. They are very well done! I understand Dana wanting to go ahead and ignore the strangers warning. It's so funny because I would be talking about how glad I was to have had the luck to meet him before going even further and having to turn around. No reason to not trust him when he says he wouldn't try with an ATV going that way.
Hi Ryan, just watched this again. what a wonderful record of a wonderful journey and love. Got us thinking about coming the do Ragbrai. Now to watch your latest video with Mira and John. Take care Ryna. Love you man. Graham and Sheila
After watching, my only regret is that you can only click Like 1 time! This was an incredible ride/video. I've done several week-long rides, but this just solidifies my intentions of doing the TransAm with a partner at some point. Can't thank you enough for capturing and sharing your awesome accomplishment!
The LoveCycles series is how my friend and I found you. Loved this as much as the orginal series! I love your passion and you have inspired my friend to do Ragbrai this year!
If I was rich I pay to get you and Ali to fly across the ocean and bike around Ireland 🇮🇪 5 times . Keep putting that energy out into the 🌎. It travels far.

Amazing vid/ journey!! Makes me want to do something like this. The guy that lost all that weight and changed his attitude and life because of you has to be a powerful feeling. Good job! 🙂
As a former competitive road cyclist, and now a recreational solo rider, I do admire what you are both attempting. I have only watched the first 10 minutes; the rest in 30 min chunks; but I am looking forward to how you both react to the difficult miles that are surely to come. Weather, terrain, mechanicals.... From a cyclist who will shed a CO2 cartridge to save weight I am in awe of how much you both must carry. Thankfully, you are both very fit and are not dragging excess body weight! Good luck, and I look forward to watching the rest of your journey. As my coach use to say on climbs: “think round”. Meaning: pedal through the full revolution using both cranks. Most cyclist only push on the downstroke. (Sorry. You look like experienced cyclists who do not require unsolicited advice.)
Thanks so much for this video. I biked east to west in 1988 with six strangers. We also had so many great experiences. I never tire of talking about my trip. 1988 was a drought year; we didn’t have one day of rain until Seattle! I just wonder: who took all the video and how did they do all the long shots? Duzer, I hope this wasn't too painful editing, but thank-you very much for posting.
It was awesome to relive it!
@@duzer That's the spirit!!
a trick: you can watch series on kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies lately.
@Harrison Victor yea, have been using Kaldrostream for since november myself =)
Mixed emotions on this. 😔
I WILL COME BACK FOR THIS!
hahaha, sorry Victor!! It'll be waiting for you when you're ready. Have a great week
@@duzer Alright, here we go!
You work too much, serously. Enjoy life more, iit´s over before you know it.
I like that!!
I think all of us cycle tourers have watched a lot of these by now but that was really special. Pure joy and awe you've managed to convey through your film.
what a magical and amazing experience. Thank you for taking us along on this journey. Sorry to hear about you and Ali but I'm happy you are still friends.
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for watching, keep eating those burritos! ;)
Cycling can keep you young, keep you fit, take you amazing places, and meet amazing people ❤
A trip like this changes you in so many ways
What pictures ... a USA that hardly anyone here knows, best bike video I've ever seen on TH-cam.
OMG, that dad talking about being married for 17 years and then travelling with his daughter and talking about working things out by talking while being on tour. The love between him and his daughter is awesome, backed up by the way she hugged him.
Awesome.
It was such a sweet moment
One of the best videos on the entire TH-cam. I started watching this morning, went to work then came home and finished it all. It's hard to accept that you guys are not together after that experience but I know u had fun doing it and that's all that matters.
Thanks for watching our adventure!! We’re still very good friends, and that’s what matters
i am watching this series for thr umpteen times. There is still hope ❤️
Yay!!
Thanks!! Have so much fun on your own adventure!! You’ll love it
There is something about being out in the middle of nothingness. Feeling vulnerable, but not scared. And being aware of your awareness. Great work Ryan. Ride on Brother. Much love
So well said! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
A very timely conversation you had at minute 38 about when you talked about what loving their spouse means & that everyone becomes at least a little vulnerable and are all on the same page. Thanks for this. Beautiful.
So true! All these conversations were so powerful
oh man this takes me places.
Watching this gets me reminiscing about my own start in cycling. I started watching your videos sometime before this series, I got my own bike (a Trek 920) in february in 2018 as a means to end my unhealthy lifestyle, be active and "Getting out there!"
It was tough, and the first few months, especially starting cycling in the winter in Iceland didn't make it any easier.
Best wishes from Iceland
Andri Freyr
Priceless!
I love those little moments
Probably not the most productive 2 hours I've had at work recently, but this has been so worth it! 😊
I felt a little sad for you, knowing what was to come (with Ali) but boy, such a beautiful thing you've created, Ryan.
Lovecycles is a great video series! I love the idea of a theme to a bike tour video series that isn’t actually ONLY about the ride. Very unique
Thanks! We really enjoyed interviewing people
Took me a few days to finish watching all of this.
Thanks for taking the time to watch this, I really appreciate it. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience to share with someone.
Love that
In all these years on TH-cam, this is the first long video I watched in it's entirely. What a trip, the USA is so beautiful! Hope to ride there one time.
Oh wow!! Glad that this was your first!! Appreciate you watching this
This is SO incredible what you did here guys. What a journey to document
Thanks! We loved it
In '86, I rode solo from San Francisco to Seattle, the Seattle to DC, then up to New York.
I love hearing this!! I wish you all the best on your new bike!
Hi Ryan, loved this video tour with Ali. thanks for sharing your experience across the world by bicycle and sharing your love.
Thanks for watching this! I love sharing these stories
So, so good. Makes me wanna go back and watch each full episode again
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Loved this series Ryan. Thanks for sharing all your adventures. For those who can't, it really is the next best thing.
Thanks!! The goal was to make this video as immersive as possible
It was an unforgettable summer! Thanks for watching
thank you for taking us with you on that journey
Love watching these long edit videos - true inspiration Ryan. Best to you in the future, as well to Ali with whatever it is she has going on. Cheers man
Glad you like the longer edits!

You can get people reflecting on their own life through a lens. It’s a great gift! Gracias and keep them coming 👍
I really appreciate you watching my videos!!
This kind of presentation and class content never seen before

Haha!! Sorry that I got you hooked on cold beans 😂 Happy trails!!

I’ve actually ridden through Pensacola once, beautiful area!! Thanks for watching
@@duzer I am a new sub. I just came across you this morning. Great content, be safe my fellow cyclist.

Love hearing this!
I think its so cool that you have embraced the love for cycling! My husband, and son and I, are avid bikers and we really enjoy the ride!
Love it! Happy trails to both of you
I only discovered your videos in the last month or so, so this was a completely new journey for me to watch.
Thanks for watching! A cross Canada voyage would be incredible!
I feel so identified with that guy with glasses, def happiness comes when you decide you had enough and decide to change everything
Yeww! =D
Thanks my friend! I bet that you’ll find someone to share an adventure with. Have fun on the AZT!
Putzinator,
I can totally relate to the lonely sentiment. You express yourself beautifully. Thank you for sharing.
I love that you took so many backroads and trails. See the real USA. Great video Ryan and Ali..
I'm excited to watch the whole thing! TH-cam would always mix up the order of videos in the playlist so this is going to be great
I hope that you like it!!
Great adventure. Also watched the two Baja ones you've done and the Great divide. Love the honesty and enthusiasm. Keep the light shining!!
Thanks! I appreciate you watching my videos
Enhorabuena Ryan
I didn't notice that there wasn't music. But I did notice that I could hear the birds. Thanks for pointing that out. It's actually really nice to just hear the sound of being on the road.
Yeah, I let the natural sounds tell this story!

Right on! Your trip sounds amazing!! Happy trails my friend

Thank you for watching!! It was indeed an incredible journey
Thank you for the kind words! Have a great time on your ride, i love Denmark!!
Thanks!

Amazing vid/ journey!! Makes me want to do something like this. The guy that lost all that weight and changed his attitude and life because of you has to be a powerful feeling. Good job! 🙂
Luke is the man! So inspiring
I actually appreciate that advice, makes sense!! Thanks for watching this, hope you enjoy our journey
Thanks so much for this video. I biked east to west in 1988 with six strangers. We also had so many great experiences. I never tire of talking about my trip. 1988 was a drought year; we didn’t have one day of rain until Seattle! I just wonder: who took all the video and how did they do all the long shots?
