Nice Job! Outpost 76 did a cut test comparing SPY27, S30v andBDN1. They appear to have similar wear resistance and the BDN1 is a much lower cost option. Keep up the good work. 😎👍
Well done, nice review and test. Not sure about the BD1N, not much experience with it, but what I found with most medium level steels...that just a stroping on your jeans few times, improves a lot the cutting edge. It helps if you need to cut just a bit more before sharpening. Seems the steel is good enough to get you through what you need :) Thanks for sharing.
I guess you'll get to this eventually but I wonder if the SPY27 is worth the extra dough over the BD1N when your in the market for a Para 3 or Manix 2 LW?

Watching people cutting up card boards is therapeutic! I come across this video searching for CTS BD1N knife i just bought a spyderco Ronin 2!
That’s a full size one, ain’t it? I’ve never seen a LW model in G10.
Those are AWT aluminum scales put onto the lightweight.
@@EternityUnknown Ahh ok, thanks.

Honestly SPY27 is WAY better than BD1N!!!!
