Dear Rob, many thank for the weekly round up and the interesting guests who share their experience. As a true racing fanatic guests from the actual or recent pro peloton would be always great to get to know the people and voices behind Strava profiles and power numbers. And of course the ever wise Pipa York would be a fantastic guest for almost every episode.
Please, help: I follow thiy channel because of Gruppetto. So, why I do not receive notation when new Gruppetto episode is on Eurosport You tube channel?
Eurosport Cycling: "ROGLIC IS BACK and the Tour de France is fast approaching " Correction: "Le Tour de France is BACK and ROGLIC IS fast approaching 🚀
I don't see how anyone can see the display at Dauphine as a success for Roglic INCLUDING Roglic himself!! If I were him or his team director I would have some concerns!! This is not something to be proud of. This is something you need to be concerned with. He BARELY saved that win!! If that stage was 500 mtrs longer Roglic would have lost that!! That's not the sign of a champ. That's the sign of someone who got REALLY LUCKY and isn't on top form. Roglic is NOTORIOUSLY KNOWN for cracking when it counts the most. This is something I would definitely be concerned with heading into TDF if I were him or the team director!! NOT what you want to see from your GC 3 weeks away from TDF!! 🤘🏻🏴
Roglic won’t win the TDF - won’t finish anywhere close to Pog - should focus on stage wins like Remco will. If Pog had been in the Dauphine he wouldn’t be dropped on the last day scraping the win - he’d be the one dropping the rest
You're the only person I've seen on about 5 cycling channels that agrees with me. This is the exact same comment I copy and pasted on all of those channels . . . @@kennykaniff considering the crash and injuries he suffered, winning the Dauphine could easily be seen as a success and you also don’t know what numbers he was producing, whereas the team do. So whether he came first or second, if the numbers were where they wanted them to be, considering the build up he’s had there are plenty of reasons they could see them as a positive. The tour is 3 weeks long - you want to be strong in the third week which is still weeks away.
@@rob-c. His numbers were actually pretty good from what I heard. Over 6 watts/kg for extended period so that's good but the first 4 stages of TDF are the hardest start to the TDF probably ever so the groundwork will be laid in the first week. The first week is going to be brutal. Pogis is gonna come out hard and strong in that first week to put Jonas and Roglic on the back foot. We don't know how Jonas is going to respond and we saw Roglic crack at the Dauphine so that will be Pogis plan I guarantee that 🤘🏻🏴

sadly I cant see Roglic staying on the bike for the duration of Le Tour. The guys bike skills are a liability to him and people around him.
No more Gee puns please…
