Yep, for the price, one should not expect it to work with hard to drive headphones. That was quite the torture test you did for that little machine ;-) And yes, I'm 100% with you on the USB (C or otherwise) power thingy. Some device, if they're not connected directly to the computer they simply won't work. That's why I think they should separate the power and the data side of things especially for DACs. Even if it's 2 USB plugs I don't mind, but having one dedicated for power allows you to use a better power supply than the computer (desktop or laptop) I think Fosi make nice little machine for the price. Don't expect too much but it's still a good value for what they are. I love my phono preamp with tubes, and I like very much my TB10A amp that is running my desktop setup Thank you, looking forward to see your video on Fosi.

I agree it needs a separate power supply. I like fosi audio also and yes I torture tested it. It sounds good.
