It's the same app as the wiim with a different name,i was told it does not update as much as the wiim,check to see if the remote works with you wiim that would be cool if it did.

My PS100 arrived the other day. I also happen to have the SU-1. These two dacs do NOT sound alike. I have to agree with the reviewer that the ps100 has an addictive quality to it's sound and I too have a hard time shutting it down after extended listening sessions. While the SU-1 has a more clinical sound which is more laid back, the PS100 is in your face with lots of bass and treble. I'm not insinuating that the SU-1 is not as good as the PS100 only that the sound is more engaging with the PS100. The SU-1 owns when it comes to reproducing background instruments with more clarity and detail than the PS100. All in all you can't go wrong with either one.

How does it compare to the Chord Qutest or TT2?

Confused why you started by saying the Roksans downside was that it makes everything you put into its analog inputs the same, but then in the latter half you say the Roksan sounds better than the M3si if you only use it as a power amp - but there's no direct power amp option, so its the same analog inputs as before. This is a contradiction.

You can buy it cheaper directly from Arylic. My only concern is it will not stream my music stored in my Synology! Working with Arylic to find what’s going on. As a Tidal streamer it works great!

One of the best Phono pre amps I've used was the tube Phono stage from a Dynaco Pas preamplifier , with two Telefunken 12AX7 tubes! Just niceness...I would like to get just the Phono stage and use that for mm . Boose hound is interesting Russian paper in oil capacitors? If ? I will look into it, I have different taste in music but not that much? Yoo doo metal , I doo Funk , Reggae , Fusion,Soul But I have a good classic rock collection also...

I was using the Audio-Technica was called signet AT OC9 back in the '80s I love that cartridge in fact I bought two of them and then in the '90s I purchased the shelter 501 Mark II this was a market improvement over the signet cartridge recently had it retipped with the boron microline still very happy and I'm hearing a marked improvement but it did take a while to break in. Really enjoyed your video Thanks so much for taking the time to do the shootout makes me wonder what the Hannah ML sounds like compared to my current shelter 501 Mark II ML

Great review. Love my p8. Been more than a year now. Thinking of getting their flagship Aful Cantor next. Carries p8 lineage to higher level i hear... With even greater details, treble energy and better bass without any bleeds. Technological beast as ever from Aful. Time to get on to that train!

How does this compare to a DAC on the Pi? Or just a DAC like schiit stuff?

I have been running one for over ten years and I love the warm sounds of the 70’s . I also purchased a used one as my. backup cartridge. Really don’t care to run anything else.

I just bought this DAC Yesterday and am already blown away. I come from a Topping D70 Pro Sabre and now I understand when some said that the sound is more natural and has more body. It sure doesn't sound artificial at all.

I had a Technics sl1200gr 2. I didnt like it in comparision whit the Pioneer plx 1000 stock out the box. One thing what I liked from the technics was: the power supply was very silent. For that reason I buyed a technics sl1200mk7 and just upgrade the weak parts. This is the number one upgrade on my list. Thank you for sharing this wonderfull video.

Hello sir! Very quick question. I've got Motu m2 (running as DAC) connected by l/r on my Yamaha a-s501 amp and is giving me clicking/popping on playback. I tried everything always the same when changing buffer size sampling and matching sample rate on PC, never ending nightmare! Is Topping D50 iii the solution for my problem and good upgrade (USB connection to PC)? And bonus question, is Topping A50 iii good match for my Audeze LCD-2 Classic? If you have time for answering me or anyone else, greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Adding passive switch boxes might be a workaround for the performance orientated user.
