I don't know why people are freaking out over price cutting. It was always the plan to get mfg up and scale price down for the good of mankind. Short memories, stock should be going up.

Never invest what you can't afford to 'lose' - or at least lose for a few years. That's called "Holding."
I will go as far as to also say a good example would be Uber & Lyft. Years ago when the company came out, their prices were so low that it undercut taxis. After a customer used their service for cheaper price & more convenient system the customer was hooked. Then during times of high demand & overall prices now are exceptionally higher. But most people have drawn accustomed to using the system that they wouldn’t go back. In that same comparison, I feel Tesla will have with FSD in the future. Where they could raise the price for the convenience of what everyone has already grown accustomed to .

TSLA is going to rocket up soon. Elon even came out and said they were coming out with low cost model. Not sure why the stock is down since thats been the complaint by people.

Tesla has no doubt a lot of potential, in terms of energy, robotaxi, Optimus, AI compute. I hv no doubt they will be worth a lot, like a lot of value. But thr vote for Musk's compensation is crucial for the mega value move. Some dumbos r trying to block it while they r still invested in Tesla. That to me is the risk. Tesla built the best cars, best tech, best softwares best autonomous system (even named as level 2) it can be level 4 overnight. Sas is the way to go. However now is the narrative on the streets that it's not good for now.
So I m bullish but somehow the street always pain a very negative pic on tesla. But they revolutionised the EV, the energy, the vision only driving. Musk even has reusable rockets etc, starlink . This guy is amazing and we should never blink on him.

I still feel like it still has more room to drop. So much horrible news lately. But I'm really interested to listen to their earnings tomorrow. I've played both sides but right now have no position. I might play the momentum side after earnings though.

Even if they solved FSD to L5 and release robotaxis, how many people would ride them? How much revenue will you generate and can you recoup all the investment in developing FSD?
This is one thing Tesla bulls always miss.
Amazon apple were product/ retail companies and then went on to become great saas companies. Wall Street denied them until they saw it by then it was too late.never underestimate tech CEOs

Don’t forget the energy side of the business and the vertical integration is becoming more efficient as time goes by. Tesla at some point is going to explode (in a good way) and when it does if you’re already in then there’s no pressure. I will continue to DCA as has been my strategy since 2020.

The problem with your take on Tesla right now is that we are still years away from Robo-Taxi
Assuming we can get to level 4 or 5 in only 12 to 18 months(which is a HUGE IF)
Then we have the regulatory hurdles
Oh did I mention that we will need insurance licenses for all 50 states???
Why because no other national, mainstream insurance carrier is going to risk everything on a new tech
Oh and Tesla has been trying to get licensed for 6 years now and is only in 12 states
So best case scenario, we are 5 to 7 years away all the while all the things making Tesla stand out are being copied and improved
Agree 100% with the length of time. I’m holding for minimum 10 years and I expect blood and craziness in between. Also, the chance to lose all my position
FSD has been a promise for too many years (In October 2016). But now with the AI evolution this is getting more real. A lot of disabled people will buy a car with FSD.
Energy, I haven't see Tesla to allow using the car's battery as a backup, only CyberTruck but this too expensive. Some competition (KIA, Nissan, etc) already provides V2L, and this is very important for anybody with a home as a battery backup for emergencies and reducing electricity bills. Much cheaper than the powerwall.
Car for the masses for short trips, the problem is charging quick for long trip but as cheap 2do car for short trip there is a market.

I personally think we will see TSLA rip after earrings since we’re so beaten up and everything’s priced in. But I’m not taking away the idea of $100 I’d earnings really goes south
Biggest worry for me right now is if most investors decide to screw Elon by voting “No” to Elon’s compensation package and he then walks away from Tesla as a result of the vote. If that happens Tesla the company and the stock will just die.

Tesla stock is a disaster. No substantial SAS revenue. That means the company must rely on cars for real profit. And that isn’t going as well as hoped.
Short term I agree 100% and that’s why o expect potential lows of $100 then $65
I think everyone is starting to realize that Tesla has been overvalued for too long. I see the stock sinking until we know if Elon is going to get another deal.
