They shouldn't have killed him off so early he had the most personality in the akatsuki. And sasuke had massive plot armor, sasuke didn't really beat him it was more of a tie

What do you mean? He survived a pretty long time, outlasting a bunch of other akatsuki. He got a lot of screen time in that time too, and was definitely not a wasted character. If kishinoto really wanted to just kill deodars off early, he would have done so. I liked the ending he got, and sasuke va deodars is one of my favorite fights.

Deidera did not necessarily "loose" to Sasuke. in the end of the fight, Sasuke was at his limits, Deidera himself noted that he had pleanty of clay left while Sasuke could barely stand, but his ego and madness over Sasuke's sharingan; drove him to blow himself up in the ultimate expression of his art.

All of the Akatsuki were well written, the exceptions coming not from Kishimoto himself, but Shonen Jump, which forced him to rush the Hidan and Kakuzu arc (he apparently had a lot more background planned for these characters than he was allowed to put in, I.E. Kakuzu having once been an honorable Samurai, and Hidan having many more abilities than what was shown) and more tragically, the oversimplification of Itachi, as Kishi was forced to prolong the series, and added more flashbacks turning Itachi from a complex but over all good character who despite ruining Sasuke's life and encouraging him to sacrifice his friends to attain power; had the best intentions in doing to; to a perfect and OP saint. The opposite was done with Danzo, who went from being a Sakazuki-like Character to an all-purpose badguy.

Nah , deidra is good , but he is not well-written , it needs way more than being insecure from sharimgan to be well-written , it is just because kishimoto lacks a lot in character writing , he can design cool characters with cool concepts, but he can’t right them to be dynamic with the other characters, haku and zabuza were the only exceptions , kishimoto just lacks skill I would say the only well-written character in akatsuki is pain ,despite the terrible ending

Deidara losing to sasuke was just away to kill off the member of the akatsuki we knew sasuke wasn’t going to die because they weren’t gonna kill off a main character at the end of the fight both deidara and sasuke could barely move, sasuke didn’t even have enough strength left to throw the kunai knife yet when deidara sets of his suscide bomb sasuke magically regains enough strength to quickly summon a snake and set a genjutsu on it to protect him, yes sasuke wasn’t at his highest point yet, but deidara didn’t really lose the fight that’s just them not killing off one of the main characters.

Nice to see some love for Deidara! He deserves more love in my opinion. I just gotta say Deidara was an absolute beast. The first time he appears in the anime, he infiltrates the Sand Village, takes on and kidnaps their Kazekage who was also a Jinchuuriki with almost no problem (although he did lose an arm). Then after haven't slept in 3 days due to having been awake to seal the One Tail, he fought against Naruto, another Jinchuuriki and Kakashi on his own and after losing his other arm to Kakashi, he fought Team Guy (who are like the best taijustu fighters in the Leaf) with only a kunai in his mouth and they couldn't even land a hit on him. Also he took out the Three Tails with literally only one bomb and he fought on equal grounds with Sasuke for awhile but he sadly was at an elemental disadvantage. Also his hatred of the Sharingan made him think irrationally. And Deidara was only 19 years old too! He was so underrated. I feel the same way about Sasori and it's a shame they were basically made into jokes in the war arc after they were revived...

I wasn't really into Naruto growing up but I appreciate some of the characters, like Kakashi, Deidara and the absolute chad Rock Lee.
