Wow, I remember watching this at the time, and recording it to watch again and again.. That tape has long since gone, never thought I'd see this again. And the quality looks decent as well. Pet Shop Boys ended up being Christmas No1 with their version of Always On My Mind.
I’ve got this on dvd which I transferred from vhs. I recorded it on the night it was aired and later when I got a dvd recorder I was thankfully able to transfer it so hopefully I can keep it for years to rewatch frequently, which of course I do. It’s great that someone was eventually able to put on TH-cam. It’s such a pity it wasn’t made in stereo as it’s only the sound which lets it down.
What was your reaction when you first heard the Pet Shop Boys version of Always On My Mind? Apparently it was so popular with people and that's what spurred them on to release it as a single. But I can imagine a lot of people wouldn't have liked it as well.

Haven’t watched it all but so far Meatloaf, Blue Moon of Kentucky, and Heartbreak Hotel are the good ones. Suspicious Minds sounded like he was 2 seconds off from the music
