For very thick hair your best advice is to use a quality gel or moose for volume. Then in order to maintain a flip or body you can set the hair in very large rollers after you're done drying a section. Another option is to pin curl them. When the hair cools in a formation it will take on the same shape. Make sure you use a high hold hairspray to finish the look. It will help it stay for a day or two.
To some extent it can make the hair snap, because it is more elastic when wet. I would not worry too much about it. You can always half dry your head with a dryer before you use brushes to add volume and style. Using a serum or heat protectant gives the hair more slip to allow the brush to glide through the hair easier, hence less breakage. I hope I gave you some useful information.
I love your videos and I know you let us make requests on video styles and how tos. I would like to c one on highlighting with foils or hair straightening by a straightening product. If not, it's cool:)
That is highly subjective. I would say the hair looks clean and not overly done. I'm way more dense then this guy, but yet I maintain a steady clientele because I'm good at what I do. Not every hairstylist is a stereotypical flamboyant gossip. We come in all types, sexual orientations, and talents.I'm proud to be in a business where I can apply my creativity. He was nice enough to share a video for everybody's education. Be polite!
Will videohairstyles be doing a how to video for a good hair straightener? I'd like to see a model with super thick, course hair like mine is :) It takes so many passes to get mine done. I think I need a new straightener!
hi i want to ask which hair colour is used for the model in the blow drying video.is it called highlights, lowlights or full highlights or full lowlights. i want the name of the colour so as to tell my hairdresser to have this on my hair.thnx
One tip I would advise is to not style this kind of blow out every single day at a salon. Your hair is at its most weakest point when your scalp is wet, so any teasing or a lot of brushing will def hurt it( w/o u even thinkng that it hurts). Put on the product(s) first, and in a bow position blow dry your hair in all directions. Once it's half dry, use a big round brush :) xoxo frm sacramento
the roots never get dry. and the hair is too wet it takes too long blow dry about half dry then pull out the brush. clients cant do this. this is old school Beautician techniques. the biggest problem is stylists don't see the clients point of view.
i would give this stylist a 7 ..cuz hair looks heavy in products, also he does not have a sense of humor..he\s plain,, like if he is tired or somethinglll come on man..more enthusiam..please..
