Great video. Today I had to install 90 degree fitting on the pump for ease of routing on my C monster pump. I cleaned the reservoir cause it has a lot of gum stuck also. It seems this Hyd fluid gets contaminated easely. Cheers
yoo awesome video i was having the same issue with that noise and did what u showed and sure enough it was completly clogged cleaned everything out added new oil and its so quiet now thanks !!!
Correct me if I'm wrong. But it has many factors as to why the fluid can get contaminated. Moisture can get into the fluid.. If you have hydraulic lines in the water and water gets in the compression nuts it will mix into the fluid. A cracked line etc.... its a good idea to check your lines and make sure the connections are tight once in a while. In time fluid can get bad from the elements. Same as oil in your vehicle. If you don't change your oil in the vehicle it will be so dirty and can damage the internals and plug ports. Gum up in the motor. Kinda the same concept. You have an electric hydraulic motor with ports in the housing.
Very good video. I'm in the process of researching them now. Could not help from seeing all the debris in the tank. Was it trash or was it metal shavings. I was wondering if there might be worn parts in the pump that ended up in the reservoir. And if not how did all that get into the system. I run a hydraulic snow plow that works on the same principal and had some of the same issues cleaned it out and it ran good for awhile but eventually I had to rebuild the pump. The same issues came back and it was fine metal shavings or shaving dust. The way I determined it was to run a magnet threw the debris and it loaded up. Thanks for doing the video and helping others out. I'm trying to do my homework before this expensive purchase.
The "green marine" tree hugger oil is what causes the oil to gum up. Get some quality Mobil DTE 24 ISO 32 oil and it will outlast the pump. Yes its expensive, but well worth not damaging your pump.
I sold it because I always wanted a Ranger boat. I liked my tracker just wanted to try a fiberglass boat. And honestly I wanna go back to aluminum. A lot more work to maintain fiberglass. But fishes like a dock. My Tracker blew around in the wind but I can manage that. I'm now looking at a 20' aluminum boat again and it's called a Vexus boat
Yes its an old video. I should remove it. The thing about this video is to keep your pumps clean. I understand your case. But I will still keep using what I have been using;). Never had any issues at all. I'm still using the same power pole from my ranger and transferred them on my vexus. My fluid is clean still and still using the same fluid I normally buy.

I was having the same problem. Thanks to your video I was able to remove, clean, reinstall. Now works perfectly.
Great video. Mine had the exact thing happening Followed this video step by step and it worked like a charm. Thank you so much for sharing
No problem. I'm happy it worked out for ya.

8 and 6 footers are so much smoother than the 10’s.
Awesome info if I just pulled those 4 screws off the reservoir and didn't pull pump out looks like 4 small screws?
4 small screws holding the fluid canister.
Does your reservoir have a vent hole in it? I’m spewing fluid all over the inside of my Allison.
Check your yellow fill cap. They will crack.
I’m confused in why the fluid is getting contaminated?? What did power pole say? That fluid should last awhile

The biodegradable fluid degrades over time.

Bleed the line leading the hydraulics in the arm
Powerpole sells an environmentally safe oil in case of leaks.
I hear ya.
There's a lot of lubricating substance in them out boards to. Probably sell the boat and get a kayak in that case.
I think it’s that bio crap that causes the problem

Great video! How do you prime the lines??
I think it's self priming. I read another post that says this.
What happened to your tracker? If you got rid of it why?

This is an old video. They do not want you using any fluid other than their fluid.

So your entire issues was debris in the lines and reservoir?
Plugged screens. Wasn't moving the fluid throu the screen causing it to move slow and making the pump work harder to the point it was making noise.
