@@Toastybees I mean, setting them to constant opening in important moments like driving or being in cinema would definitely be thing. But have a mode that let's your eyes rest is a handy thing, considering that people get attached too much and forget to be healthy.

@@SariusxX Or give it the function to connect via wifi(for local connection) to make sure that it only does the blocking when you're in your home(home network) or office. It also serves as a way to change settings/profiles of the glasses themselves like in some "smart" devices. Though having a physical switch to turn the function entirely off IS and SHOULD be mandatory. This should also already be viable as PLDC glass(those new moonroof glasses that can be clear or frosted)and Photochromic Glass(something like Transition for eyeglasses), it's probably just a matter of efficiency electrically and actual product demand. Though closing your eyes for a minute or two every hour or so is still better, the glasses are just a form of timer like with sit-stand desks and proper stretches.
