Gorgeous Miss Tessa. Consider a video showing how to scissor trim a working cocker spaniel.

Would love to! I don’t have access to any working cockers at the moment but would love to in the future!

I have Springers, but I am loving your videos. if you have not already done one… I would love to see how you blend from the clipped ears into the stripped head

Do you have any tips for supporting my 15 year old American cocker? She gets so tired while bathing and drying.

I would suggest giving the dog lots of breaks! There are wonderful towel jackets that can keep her warm while she takes a break while wet😊

How do you avoid the water from getting into the ears

As long as no water is directed into the ear it’s typically not an issue. If it’s a concern, the ear can be flushed following the bath with an alcohol based cleaner that will dry out any moisture! They make products specifically for this purpose.

Hello love you bathing video. I have an American Cocker and have a hard time with delicate fur under arm pits getting knotted. Any special treatment or anything you can suggest will really help. She's 10 months old.

Hello! Most like to keep the coat in this area short - even on some show dogs! However, for those who chose to keep it long, daily brushing and combing with a conditioning spray will help keep the coat mat free. If mats are forming and we continue to detangle the same area the coat will be broken and is more likely to tangle faster. A clean and well conditioned coat will tangle and break less than a dirty, dry coat! Hope this helps😊

I have an English cocker and I shave the front armpits and carefully shave the belly hair from the ribs age down to the rear legs until it is quite short.
