    Welcome Back! This is Matt and I love turning trash into CASH. It is Nacho Stuff but that doesnt mean someones trash can't equal cash. You see, many people have abandoned all kinds of random treasures and toss them into the trash. We take these lost valuables and figure out a way to make a buck from them. Sometimes it through resell, other times we might just scrap it. Either way, we are turning free stuff into cash. I prefer the curbside scene but occasionally find myself in a dumpster or two. Join me as I try to turn nothing into something.
    I mostly consider myself a scrapper or repurposer of things that people have decided to discard. Some call it picking while others consider it a true treasure hunt. But at the end of the day, like most scrappers, I am trying to reduce our waste while lining my pockets a little in the process. Each piece of scrap metal, item of curbside treasure or piece of dumpster loot means one less piece going into our landfills and that makes me happy. The fact that I can get paid for the effort is icing on the cake. Be sure to subscribe to stay up to date with my latest hunt and possible cool finds.

    Motors can be a pain in the tail end as you know. You never know what you will get in to until the end.
    Thanks for keeping it real. May the good Lord bless you and yours. As old Scouters (Scout Master, Scout Com. Secretary, and Webelos Leaders) We commend you on keeping things that will help you unit. And as a fellow scrappers, job well done.

    Matt, please be very careful when using your grinder that it doesn't kick back and hit you in the mouth. My dad was mechanic for the BC&G railroad and was using a grinder. It hit a snag and kicked back and hit him in the mouth. It left a hole that he stuck his tongue through. Also, knocked out some teeth. Of course, had to have stitches. Please, be careful. God bless. 😊❤❤

    What you are seeing inside of the aluminum is just the wearing of the brass plate moving up and down the shaft.

    • @nachostuff

    okie scrapper uses an air hammer similar to your electric one,, he cut a V shaped notch in his chisel and it works great to strip the winding out of those electric motor.

    • @nachostuff
      @nachostuff  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have seen that before too but this one doesnt require a compressor. I havnt cut a V yet because I wanted to see what works best first before I started modifying stuff.

    Check out a scrapper called "Scrap Farm". He has videos of himself cutting out the copper coils on motors, car generators and stuff like that. He has it down to an art. You might have to look back a few years of him doing that, but you might learn something from it. He's really good at it and quick to get All the copper out.

    After you’re done, cutting that ring of copper off, you find a punch that is the same diameter as the steel where the copper goes through and you punch it through where you’ve cut all the way through to the other side that way you don’t have to pull it or use your Roto hammer or any of that it comes out through the other side. You just punch each Individual hole all the way through your copper comes out clean and I believe that’s wax on it not glue and then there’s some kind of plastic coated paper inside the wrapped up with the copper. Good luck, Matt thank you for that I was awesome to watch.
