Had almost forgotten how truly entertaining tv used to be before the negative talk shows, reality shows, or who can sing or dance shows. Before all the vulgar language, or filled with nothing but blood & guts action &/or computer graphics, etc. Thanks for the memories and the smiles.
It is 2023 I'm watching this for the first time & loving it. I will also watch parts 3 & 4 & any other parts available, as these are entertaining in the extreme! Love these stories!!!
This collection is like watching a whole new show. It’s such a different perspective. His life is put into context with clarity in his character. I love it. 😎👍
I just finished watching one and marked this one for tomorrow. This series of the Highlander Duncan McCloud is one of my favorite shows from years ago. Thank you so much for sharing.
What I find most interesting about the way this is cut and presented is how I can see and understand the reasons behind his evolution from the beginning of the character until the end of the series, his sense of right and wrong, and what it might actually be like to have a radically different life span than those we live among. I also appreciate how much of the violence has been removed. This is a very fine piece of work that stands on it's own and 3rdWheel deserves a lot of credit for creating.
I understand. How many have you watched. The episodes are designed to get you to come back and watch the next one. Do not forget they are paid for by advertisers. I never finished the series. It got repetitive and went dark to try and keep you coming back. The way this is presented gave me a new perspective on the series which made it interesting again. Your view and mine are both real, just from different perspectives. Adrian Paul and the original movie actor do a joint interview that is worth watching. They have much the same perspective on how they tried to evolve their characters.
Ah the Sitar! My house father, who was a bank teller, at night in the cottage at my boarding girl’s school, would play his Sitar for everyone. It was the first time I saw and heard such a magnificent instrument. His wife who was an English teacher graduated from the school in 1968. David showed us a different kind of instrument, his wife Carol was great at helping me write better.
OMG, I looked up at it was 6 am! I had rolled from #1 into #2 pulling another all nighter on YT with out even blinking! I loved this one! The final straw was when he said I take my monthly bath and she said you smell like it too! LOL...hahaha I looked up and said OMG 6 am again! Go fix the morning coffee, because no way am I not going to leave this one until I am through to the end! Love it. Part 3 will have to wait! Thank you for the up load. I had no idea this was part of the Highlander series and I loved thoseeee!
Excellent part 1 / 2 uploads . Brilliant Idea to have only the Historical scenes , suddenly realised that the union of 1745 was actually a disaster for Scottish liberty . Anything on that period is my thing .
I would have changed, what happened after the head was removed. The person being 300 years old would turn to dust, the lighting would destroy what is left of the body .
Oh my, at 1:35 it's the great Indian actor Kabir Bedi! I didn't know he was in this series. I've seen him in a few Indian movies. Love the tiger in the scene. Sandokan meets MacLeod.
I've done a bit of historical reenacting and I appreciate the effort to keep the clothing and weapons appropriate for each period. ( In my humble experience & opinion )
Aye, still watching it... began to play the pipes in '85, then "Highlander l" ( always got to hear MacLeod! Mac Leod! There can be only ONE!!! at the medieval castle fairs ((in Germany, mind you)) reenacted also since 1985, clansman, jacobites, redcoat highlander 79th, my pipe teacher raised the first pipe band in germany and was amongst the first reenactors of the 42nd, so pipe lessons were also history lessons...😂) so the movies and the series were a mixed experience (as was Braveheart) great fun to watch (especially since I did fencing and HEMA/SCA swordfighting since 1977...) but historically and costumewise a bluidy mess! 😂 Still, what fun! Nothing like it for decades, sorry to say... 😅
This is an awesome "take" on parallel lives throughout any timespan~~AND, the humor (much of which is under-the-breath) is HILARIOUS!!! One more thing~I never knew Rodger Daltry was an actor of this caliber!!! KUDOS MR. Daltry, as I only am familiar with your vocals and microphone antics with "The Who", LOL!!! ~~~~from a Bruce bassist
Interesting that part 1-2 in every country across the world 1st language spoken is English. And connor McCloud is mentioned multiple times but never shows face.
Crazy thought, ever think how time periods and fashion stay the same through years and decades? is it because of the "Royalty" and "Business?" I only say business, because of how the relation of power transitions throughout our history, from Royalty, Parliament, from Government to Business(Corporations). Where influential power comes into play and declares their social norm for the masses? Damn this is good weed*
I wonder why they always show women hurting men by hitting them between the legs Yet don't show men kicking women there, which can be even more painful and also harmful. It's a tactic men should also be taught and used
5 yrs late on this comment but dude... having a baby naturally is like being kicked in the cunt with a steel toe boot about 50 times. And hurts that badly for nearly a week. And can damage your anatomy that way permanently as well. So I'm just saying, a few kicks might hurt a lot, but she will still whip your butt. Especially since a kick might incapacitate a man for up to thirty mins and cause vomiting, but a woman... yeah you got 5 good mins if you lift her feet off the ground. Depending on the woman of course, a woman used to pain will give you 30 seconds or less to start running!
🤷♀️ Kinda wondered if flashbacks from the “Stone of Scone” would be included here since it was the only episode labeled a _FABLE._ So glad to see they’re here, just wouldn’t be the same without them! 🙆🏼♀️ Doesn’t get much better than MacLeod, Fitz and Amanda! 🎉🥳
There is a glaring flaw with Duncan and his friend, Kim Sung. He said he knew him from a hundred years ago, but Duncan had not lived that long nor did he ever travel to the Far East in his early days.
what's there not to love about Highlander from the first till it hit us 80s cult Classics series these are the flash backs from Duncan MacLeod past lives
Does anyone out there share my opinion that Adrian Paul should have been the next James Bond? No offense to Daniel Craig who did a brilliant job of portraying Bond, but picture this: Adrian Paul as Bond (with ponytail) blazing about in that vintage Thunderbird that's been souped up by "Q" saving the free world. Rock on!
🙋🏼♀️ i’m so pleasantly impressed with Roger Daltrey’s acting abilities! 🎭 Always known he was an awesome singer, but acting?! Wow! 🎉🥳 *WHO knew?!?* 🤷♀️
At 1:02:02,I'm finally understanding what's going on. The first part had some parts that I enjoyed and some was like a bad comedy series. I love Highlander for years. Duncan gets drunk but he can smell death coming with his eyes closed.lol
That China man always plays a dark part in every part I have ever seen him in, especially with one I saw with him in one of Chuck Norris' film that is rather old. He is a skilled martial artist as well. Of course, he is. They all are..ha.
I loved this series but i'm sottish and the accent is crap from 99% actors . I am related to bonnie prince charlie and it's inaccurate however it was an entertaning series and nowt but for the love of the original films
hmm.. they count start of 1st century from what be reckoned as birth of christ for those who use the bible that be, so 1700 be then the start of 18th century counting 00:00:01 am for those who use am/pm system ;)
Technically we do complete 11mo an 364 days before were declared 1 yr old an so was Jesus 😉 Although documents do state 1700 did begin the 18th century.
Who's watching in 2024 one of the best shows ever made
I'am..!
Me too !
2024, anyone?
Oh yeah great show
Yeah 2038.
You know it!
yes
Yes❤
The Stone of Scone had to be one of the funniest episodes I've seen. Roger and Adrian nailed the comedy.
The one where Fitzcairn's new wife murders him repeatedly and turns the show into a murder mystery episode was one of the funniest to me.
It is 2024 and I still enjoy watching it
Some of the finest tv. Movie quality and more.
I'm so happy to see this again after all these years thankyou. To those watching this enjoy OK from lacey😊
Had almost forgotten how truly entertaining tv used to be before the negative talk shows, reality shows, or who can sing or dance shows. Before all the vulgar language, or filled with nothing but blood & guts action &/or computer graphics, etc. Thanks for the memories and the smiles.
I'm watching this on 2024!!!! Loved the man the actor, the story, everything!!! Wish it was still going on and on...❤❤❤
Really you from the future? Who won the US election, Biden or Trump?

I like these stories in that era of time
Watch the Highlander series! The best TV series ever (at least in the 40 years)!
Watch the original Highlander movie Christopher Lambert Plays Highlander Connor Macleod of the Clan Macleod
This collection is like watching a whole new show. It’s such a different perspective. His life is put into context with clarity in his character. I love it.
😎👍
I know. I'm actually enjoying this more than I did the show.
@@williamozier918
I love god
She didn't want any one else to have him, very possessive woman 😂
The show takes me back to the original highlander
The opening of "Saving Grace" still gives me goosebumps. One of the best episodes I think.
Still watching in 2023 😊
What a compilation - a lot of work.. Thank you.
I just finished watching one and marked this one for tomorrow. This series of the Highlander Duncan McCloud is one of my favorite shows from years ago. Thank you so much for sharing.
nope...most or all people will...die...have you ever been to a funeral? be rational...
Yeah but he still can't beat Connor MaCleod.
MacLeod
MacLeod bro
I still watch the reruns, proper 90's quality show.
Just saw one and two , brings back memories of the 80s , shows with a story, not a reality or modern stuff. Will be watching other parts next.
This really is just one of the best things on TH-cam! Thank you so much!

Wow, thanks a lot. I was just surprised it hadn't been done already, and was just curious to see how it meshed together.
David Myers I would enjoy this more if they would finish the episodes, it's such a tease this way
I understand. How many have you watched. The episodes are designed to get you to come back and watch the next one. Do not forget they are paid for by advertisers. I never finished the series. I liked this video a lot too! It brought back memories! I would love to see a video of all of the quickenings, that would be really cool😍
Violence cut out? The swordplay was part of the fun.
Who’s still watching in 2019?
This is really cool. It's the only part of the show I am interested in.
@@whendoigettosayfuck They could have done whole seasons with MacLeods past lives.

This mixed scenes are actualy more interesting than the actual tv series :D thank you for fantastic funny movie :D
I've heard AP interviewed saying the stone of scone episode was his favorite outside Homeland because he had such fun with Roger Daltry.
I have never heard of this and I see where he goes into the westerns years lol can’t wait

LMAO yes it does
LMAO, yes it does
Conrad Huhn who gives a fuck.

Because most of them aren't in the flashbacks.
Thanks for uploading, It was great to watch these, p.s. 1700 isn't part of the 18th Century, it began in 1701 xox
hmm.. they count start of 1st century from what be reckoned as birth of christ for those who use the bible that be, so 1700 be then the start of 18th century counting 00:00:01 am for those who use am/pm system ;)
True, but the start of the 1st century started at AD 1, not AD 0. The 2nd century started on AD 101. PS. The world already had this argument, in 1999.
Technically we do complete 11mo an 364 days before were declared 1 yr old an so was Jesus 😉

1778 I remember shogun series with Tosshiro Mifune and Richard Chamberlain.
So it's during the 18th Century that Duncan lost his Scottish accent. During his period in Asia. Interesting.
