Oh man - does this bring back memories. When this premiered on the WB twenty-something years ago, I remember my dad, my two brothers, and me plopped down in front of the telly watching this and we all agreed that it was badass (even though it was pretty dark). Thank you for uploading this piece of nostalgia for me. Now - onward to part two!
I loved this show! It was one of the first animated series shown in prime time. It had such amazing animation. It is such a shame it never got a DVD or Blu ray release. What a missed opportunity. Thank you for not letting this great show be lost to time.
The 1st animated series to air at prime time might have actually been Batman: The Animated Series
Oh I remember this one. Really dark, very underrated. The first episode with the zombie invasion is really strong.
Actually was 2 versions of Invasion America, A more toned down version and the more adult version that was on at 8pm.

This was such a good show. I remember watching it as a kid and wondering where it went. Not a single one of my friends knew about this show except me.

Same! I had watched it with my dad when it originally aired. For the longest time, I was hoping that I might stumble across it again as I couldn't remember the name of the show.
I remember it being interesting but something always put me off about it. I think I eventually found out what it was and it was to do with the people involved in making the show but I can't quite recall what it was. Were they scientologists?@@jerryterwase9027

Two hours of this show set in and made in the 90's with David wearing that glove and not a SINGLE Michael Jackson joke.
Talk about wasted opportunity. But I do love that power glove, it's so bad.
I remember this airing the summer before Batman Beyond premiered. Animation style is somewhat similar between the two. I remember it ending on a cliffhanger. It shared several voice actors in common with other animated shows of the same era.
Yeah sadly it only got one season, which left a bunch of plot points unresolved.
@@OrbitalBacon it was interesting up to that point. I think I saw the WB version because it was on the same channel as other WB shows of the time like the New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond, etc. also the Gargoyles animated series aired during the years prior to Invasion America one season run.

Looks like a Decent Action Sci Fi Toon. But man that late 90's Animation with Early CGI Stuff! WOOF! Oh how that takes me back! The good old days.
I remember this cartoon it was produced by Steven Spielberg and actually ran on primetime tv slot at 8pm.

I remembered watching this on The WB as a special back then like around very late 90s and yes I remember Jim Cummings announcing Lorenzo Lamas’s as part of the cast like it was yesterday😂, awesome miniseries by Dreamworks when they started out, thanks Bacon for posting this masterpiece 👍

For the longest time I thought this show was a fever dream of mine as a kid. I never remembered the name of it and here 25 years later it crossed my mind and I decided to Google it.
Interesting how Leonard Nimoy plays a bad guy in this.
I remember he played a homicidal doctor in an episode of Columbo a long time ago. His long career in TV means he probably played many other villainous characters.
I wished they continued this show, it was really good.

I've still got the series in DVD quality. I'm uploading it to my Google Drive that Members have access to.
There was also BAD (Bureau of Alien Detectors) from 1996. I remember it being darker in tone, but not as dark as Invasion America.

It has a scene where a Scientist? is having an exchange of words with a government official in a secret lab, and some protagonists are staying out of sigh in a vent, and then all of a sudden the Scientist is found disposable for some reason and then gets eaten alive by an /\lien?; while the protagonist's escape through a secret pathway?
I remember when this was on WB back in the day. Couldn't really watch it since my parents recorded their HBO shows back then.

I watched this back when it came out, it was good. Also you have to remember what was out at the same time this came out. On HBO it was Spawn the Animated series which of course was dark and this one being on television couldn't no way show what spawn did. You can tell from the artwork.

You know, I've been looking for info on this show for the longest time, but I forgotten the name until now. . I would have watched it when it aired, but it was both past my bedtime. That, and I was under a major 'no TV' crackdown during that time. A punishment I still think was uncalled for!

I remember this, I was looking for this about a month ago. I couldn’t remember the name, just that the boy had powers and a glove. This storyline gives off “I Am Number 4” vibes. Which I’m fairly sure that movie used parts of this show to create. Both this show and that movie were truly underrated. Thanks for this amazing series and the memories.

The guy who composed the music for "Gargoyles" did this too...I hear a lot of Gargoyles in this.
I have not seen this show since 2019. This is, to date, DreamWorks Animation's finest show.
Disregards his parent's rules, drives without a license, speeds, evades the police, wrecks his friend's bike and risks seriously injuring or killing them both then is angry with the policeman who does not even charge either of them for any of the crimes they committed. Almost everything I hate about people, in five minutes! And he's the hero?
I enjoyed this show when I first saw it years ago. I've been looking for it for a few years now. Thanks for the upload. I forgot how exciting it is. Well done, Orbital bacon.

I remeber this show. It has such an interesting story. I would love to see a Netflix live action adaptation. I always thought Terry McGuness/Batman Beyond looked like the protagonist. This show gives Real Adventures of Johnny Quest vibes.

This show actually has things in perspective! And there's so much more to like about it, like how Dave contacted a Tyrusian ship that just happened to be in range, and these characters we didn't even know found themselves in a position to make a heroic effort to protect Earth. On that note, there were a couple of deaths in this series that actually made me utter, "Son of a bitch!" out loud.
I wish this was on DVD, but since it may never be, I'm glad you've got it here. Looking forward to finishing.
Omg! I haven’t seen this in like forever. I remember this being the third darkest animation series next to gargoyles. I love all of them a lot.

It first when I started watching this I wondered How did I miss this? But, when I was the year that this came out 1998, that was the year my mother was terminally ILL. She passed away in November. I wasn't paying attention to what was coming on during that year

STAR TREK: DS9 was on at the same time as this was being shown. I believe, it was zn episode involving the infamous "Red Squad". These are Tall Nordics portrayed here.
