Hey Derek, you'll need a plate in between, they are different sizes. The SAM-6 is probably the lowest profile plate that will interact with the BUD-1 and offer you threaded holes to mount a tripod plate in, otherwise you could try a BPA-6 or the UAP-3.
Hey Fergus, that's an Ambient TinyMike with the included shock mount screwed into the 3/8" hole on the side of the LCH-1 top handle. You could also use a MHB-2 mounted to either top plate for the camera, which will get you into the right position for a top mic. We don't offer a shock mount ourselves but for standard diameter shotguns we've often used the Rycote InVision Video ¼” Adaptor, without the arm part, bolted to the MHB-2. - Sean
Hey there, sorry for the delay, we've been looking into this. It's not possible to flip the shoulder pad on the CBP-5 or CBP-6, but it should be possible on the BPA-6. It's definitely possible on the CSP-2!
Hi Joe, there are 3/8" -16, 1/4" -20 and M4 holes on the side of the LCH-1, near the front, that could be used for a mounting arm, or many options from the top plate. If you mount the viewfinder to the MVB-1 on lightweight rods you could also use the 3/8" hole at the very front of the top handle, which would be the perfect position. However, the CCH-5 top handle in the production set is really the handle that was designed for the tools that you mention.
@@ARRIChannel can you please post a picture of how you mounted this? curious for a solution to easily mount a Mini Cmit to this camera with a shock mount. I don't yet see how to get that on the side of the LCH-1. Thanks!
Hahaha the guy under the table that took the camera @1:55 was really a comedic relief! Thanks for having humour!
Please try not to mention Hans, he doesn't like the attention.

Hans, we can see you! 😆
1:50 - Production Set
8:29 - Lightweight Set
Great ! So how can I participate in the giveaway ?
Can the BUD-1 go directly on to a dovetail or does it require a bridge plate?

Hi Sean! I’m curious about the setup towards the end of the video: how and where is that mic attached to the camera?

@@ARRIChannel Thanks! Very useful.
Oh my. Yes. Just yes to all this.
useful on the arri cine system.
Does the new shoulder pad come in a left handed variant, or can I screw it off and reverse it?

With the Lightweight set's top handle, what's the best way to mount a Light Ranger 2 or Cinetape bracket?
