- Just to let people know that the large DD coil also does find tiny items, look around and people are finding some stunning small items with the DD coil.
I just wanted to see if I could get small stuff near iron with the small coil @18 kHz and good sized coin items at @ 8 kHz and it worked a treat. picking the right tool for the right job you could say!
Next Video I'm going for the deep stuff, let's get amongst it 😄

I have Alter mid-November. Very interesting equipment. Its biggest advantage is versatility. I look forward to sniper coil and a wireless module audio.Moduł, is slated for release in February. Ziggy, thanks for the video.

👍 that buckle gave a shocking signal. And to be fair so did the small stuff. This machine isn't going to miss much at all. I have a feeling it's going to wake up all my old permissions. Yeah it was loud when first switches on, good in a way as I'm deaf so the wife says 😄
Yeah next video I'm going low and slow, dropping the kHz a little and dropping the reaction speed... I will go to land where the ground is soft, digging in this test field is a pain, but it keeps producing and I want to clear it over the next 2-3 years I hope.
It's a video just giving a little insight and anyone who has this already won't be learning much off of this video... Bar they see what it possible has to offer and that's a lot.

ziggyjinx I wasn't deaf but i am now 😂. Look forward to the depth test. My little boy (aged 3) just woke up and told me im going to find 10 gold coins on sunday 22nd. Very bizarre 😮but I'll look forward to that one. Happy hunting bud.

Your ground looks painful to dig very knotty . You got your money out of those trainers you been digging in them a few year .
+david hopper yeah it's a bloody nightmare for digging in that field... Oh well I could do with the exercise.

Great video Ziggy , as I've already pointed out previously in my Rutus UK group , this machine is only going to grow in popularity , it's going to be a detector to keep an eye on and go on to produce some cracking finds . I can't wait to get back out with my Alter 71 as much as possible .

i wish they would eventually offer them to people in the US but the company has refused. I have asked and even said i would pay shipping they just dont care.

Hello Mark, off the top of my head I can't recall, not far off factory default from ultra fast, if recall I added a little extra threshold.
This is what I like as I wasn't straining the machine and it's very stable, I know that with the concentric coil I was able to run at 90 on the sensitivity and still ran stable than most machines.
I will post the settings if I recall in the description ok.

How's the battery life on this machine? I've heard the previous Rutus models eat up batteries like candy.
i brought 3 xpacks of lidl rechargables for mine because someone said they are ok . total cost £9 for 12 batteries . that will cover at least a full weekends detecting . Already have 18 enloop batteries but thught why not give lidls a go and report back my findings .
