yes absolutely! I actually don't like to use my airbrush very much and I'm using sponges, regular brushes and so on. Take a look at my playlist called "chocolate design" and there you'll find lots of other options :)
What's the brand of the Airbrush? do you also fill the airbrush with a color capsule to spray it onto the chocolate or you only put the color on the mold and then you air pressure it?
I’m using a Timbertech airbrush. If I only color 1 mold I like to fill color into the airbrush and it works just find. But usually I’m coloring 10 molds and I hate using it, It’s not so much about the airbrush, but my compressor is too weak and the color get stuck. This is super frustrating and that’s why at least for now I’m trying to stay from filling color into the airbrush. Or at least until I get a more powerful compressor.
Thank you for the tutorial. How long do you wait after you put colorant in mold before added chocolate. Whenever I do it the colorants blend into chocolate sometimes. Is there a set time to wait till the colorant sets up?
The set time depends on the temperature in your kitchen. In your case I’d recommend putting the colored molds into the fridge for 5 minutes or so before pouring in chocolate. Just to make sure the colors are set.
Your colors need to be tempered. But I’m using colored cocoa butter that comes already tempered. Which means if I don’t screw it up and heat them up too high I can just use them without tempering, because they already are in temper.
Hi Angi I am trying to find the video where you talked about where you got your moulds from and I can’t seem to find it! I’ve been looking everywhere for moulds this big in the UK but I’ve had no luck whatsoever!
In the bottles is colored cocoa butter. I like to use the colors from Chef Rubber and Roxy and Rich. You can find lots of different colors on their website or on Amazon. Below are some Amazon Affiliate links. Chef Rubber, white (other colors available): amzn.to/3cQvXHt Roxy & Rich, purple (other colors available): amzn.to/35zD5nn
Hi there, for my bars I used the jewel colors from Chef Rubber: shop.chefrubber.com/products/17/Jewel-Cocoa-Butter/ Gold Green Peridot Green Mermaid and I think it was the Purple Amethyst (or Prana Purple)
I recently purchased an airbrush kit to paint my chocolate bars, although the chef master colors I ordered don’t show up on the chocolate. They look more like someone spilled some koolaid on the chocolate. Are the two brands you’re using in the video better for chocolate?
J S Hi there, I’m using a Timbertech: Timbertech Airbrush Compressor Kit ABPST05, Single Piston Quiet 1/6hp Compressor, Multi-purpose Gravity Feed Airbrush Kit with Airbrush Gun, Hose for www.amazon.com/dp/B00LO4PKY2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_El5AQ2GSww2D9

Kostas Dinierakis haha nice 😂
Good job❤
Thank you so much 😀
Wow these look so yummy ! Eye candy and real candy! Love it! :)
Thank you so much 😀🥳🍫
question: why don't you put the colour inside the airbrush and then brush it on?
Because I want to create very irregular and chaotic patterns :)
@@angilearnshowtochocolate don't get me wrong they look amazing! 🥰
@@michelle_k01 ☺️ thank you. I understand where you’re coming from. It’s a good question :)
I love it!!
Thank you!!
What if we don't have the airbrush??
Any easy idea to do the same colours on choclate??

@@angilearnshowtochocolate thanks! Do you just heat it up until it’s fluid (without going above the temper temp)?
Yes. Usually I don’t melt the whole bottle completely and will stay around 30/31C
@@angilearnshowtochocolate thank you!

Hi there,

Gold
Green Peridot
Green Mermaid
and I think it was the Purple Amethyst (or Prana Purple)
What is the diameter of the nozzle?
I‘m using the biggest I have: 0.5mm

I have never used chef master colors therefore I can’t tell if the other brands are better. Are the colors looking ok in solid form?
I don't think that chef master has colored cocoa butter. I think it's food coloring for cake decoration.
Hey Angi. What kind Paint do you use?
Hi :)
I‘m using colored cocoa butter and I like the colors from Roxy&Rich and Chef Rubber
What air brush machine do you have?
