If you asked me that when I started out boating years ago, I'd tell you jets are only good for not getting fouled up, props win at everything else. Now though, for a boat like this, I'd happily take the jets as an option. They are much more fuel efficient than before, more efficient at transferring the power, and much easier to service and maintain.

Are jet drives as efficient as prop. Would the same 500 hp in this hull perform better with a couple of props.
