Mr Dyer going down a different road and it looks good. Nice 1 Rob.
That seems like it sounds better than the cameos. I can't decide what to get the Vevor 28-inch kit with a heat press or the cameo 4 plus or pro.
Your video is great and gives me hope I pulled the trigger on VEVOR Upgrade Vinyl Cutter Machine, 34 inch Paper Feed Cutting Plotter, Automatic Camera Contour Cutting LCD read a couple bad reviews about vevor and am still a little worried Thank you for the video
Its always a learning curve. One step at a time.
What settings did you use?
I use signmaster Art software. Found it to be the best for what I need. Bought the full package. More than I can ever need.
How is the plotter holding up?
I've been working it like a horse and it's doing really fine. Anytime i start a new big project I swap out to new blades. But yeah it's been Fantastic.. I only had one mishaps but that can either be hardware or software. The program stopped 3/4 way in but it was really complex and a lot of cutting !!! But overall it works great and If I was to get a bigger one ide stick to the same brand and supplier. I now cut both vinyl and heat transfer. Very pleased here.....
But yes you have to buy into software !!!!
Cheers
Rob
Have you had any success with print and cut on the machine
Sorry, I don't follow you mate. This is simply a plotter, a blade that cuts my image from a vinyl sheet. I also now do sublimation but that's through a Epson ET-2800 printer and different process. I'm now interested in DTF printing, that's next level stuff !!!
I am totally new at this. I have some of it down. I have even made some stickers but there is so much I need to know. I need some help .
It's a learning curve for sure !!! First and foremost it's all about the software ! This is where you will make or break it !!! A good plotter is always a plus as well. For software I bought the license to use signmaster. They offer different levels. I went with the most top tier but not needed so even the pro version will be more then enough. I can take anything and convert it to a graphic, I can draw with it and even custom build which is what I do now. I do wraps on hoods and graphics for cars to making store front signs and even fabric pressing to making shirts ! Vevor products are great and work very well with what I do. Both plotter and heat press are from Vevor and work perfect with Signmaster architect software. Just keep messing around and more you do the more you get and better you become !
Good luck and remember to have fun !
@@itsadyerthing Hi, Do you think this cutter would be good for motocross graphics?
@@Ivantus777 this plotter only cuts single color vinyl. What you may be after is a printer that actually does decals and on a graphic like that youde be after a punch press. That's now getting into industrial equipment! Generally these plotters you see in my video are mentioned for single layer are from .1 to 0.2mm thick so no they probably wouldn't last both abrasion and environment abuse..
