Hey, why not use "area test" to see if the piece of vinyl is big enough? It's faster as "cut now" without blade. With "area test" it rolls the material and slides the blade as much as to what to cut. No need to take the blade holder out, too.
@@1bigimpact area test was new for me, too. Before the Vevor cutter and signmaster I had a Roland cx24 cutter and flexisign software. The signmaster software has some very handy options.
Good video, with the width limited to the feeder size obviously rolls are 28", does the software limit the length direction seeing it can draw rolls in? I'm looking to do mainly vehicle lettering and logos and some could be up to around 50" x 20" (1275 x 500mm). So much conflicting info on-line, will the software and machine handle that size?
What tips do you have with cutting imported images? I have tested the cut so many times and have not seemed to master the cut right on. I've even done a contour cut and I still can't seem to get the cut right on.
I THINK I JUST CRACKED THE CODE TO THIS! It's amazing that I asked this question and figured it out right after. Knowing where to place the blade is what gets me everytime but I believe I've got it now. I just have to test it out with my sheet of 1" labels to know for sure. :) I'm excited now haha.

so in my opnion the settings are not what dictates that although i thought the same thing at first i found out the real issue was how far the blade sticks out from the holder from the side angle it needs to be barely visible but i will say if you are changing vinyls alll the time it may need to be set differently each time i hope that helps

So as far as that goes you need to make sure its an image that you downloaded to your computer already and once that is done you can right click on your mouse and click import. also in the top task bar there will be an option to import as well. IN ALL HONESTY I CHANGE THE SPPED AND FORCE MANY TIME AND IN THE END IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING I FOUND THE DEPTH OF THE NEEDLE IS FAR MORE IMPORTNT
Hi! I just got this for work and the software it comes with won't let me do anything unless I pay for a subscription.... I didn't see this noted anywhere when buying it, is this true for you as well? Did you have to purchase to have access to the software or were you able to download it and then just use it? Also, did it come with a jump drive in addition to the CD? Something about it feels very odd.
I do believe it did and I don't remember what it was for exactly but or exactly but just insert the CD or the jump drive and the product code should be inside the cd case on a yellow piece of sticky

ok so i have set up my machine but my cutting settings are 460 for speed & 80 force & the blade keeps going straight thru the paper ive tried 90 100 it still keeps tearing up the paper...
Why are you cutting it like that, flip it over so your not cutting through the backing and mirror the image, you are doing that 1000% ass backwards and making it harder on yourself

I think the area test function in Sign Master traces a rectangle over the cut area.

No problem are you dealing with a vector file or did you just take some random image off the Internet
@@1bigimpact picture from the internet..it's a big sunflower like 13"x15 image.and also for the sublimation image too is a 13"&19" size.

Yes I did a big logo for the back of my truck window you can do pretty big logos

I just received my cutter and heat press roughly a week ago. How do you bring the image onto the software and then transfer it to the cutter?

My vevor 375 doesn't move when switched on. The red reset button is on but not movement . Any idea?

Why are you putting the vinyl in face down?
because the shiny part is called the carrier (clear plastic) and you dont cut that part
