For 24/7 care you would need to go to the city, but people here are unbelievably helpful. Also, they just completed a major section of an overpass that makes travel to the city much faster. In an hour you could be to a 24/7 hospital. But Panama is such a different experience than where we are from in the states. We actually have the Whatsap number of doctors in our area that we could text in an emergency. It's hard to comprehend until you live here how amazing this community is. We help one another in big and small ways.
