Hunting Giant Newfoundland Moose

- In this episode of Nick's Wild Ride, Nick heads to Newfoundland to hunt moose. Nick has been on multiple moose hunts over the years, but he has always come home empty handed. Luckily this time around, Nick is hunting in an area that has more moose than anywhere else in the world.
Just because there are a lot of moose in Newfoundland doesn't mean killing one is easy. Nick hunted by boat, on foot, and even was transported by helicopter to remote hunting areas all in an effort to get within gun range of a big bull. All the hard work paid off. In this episode, you will see why a Newfoundland moose hunt should be on the bucket list of every big game hunter!

Serpentine Lake is a beautiful place. On those mountains you get to walk on the earth's mantle and an ancient ocean of Iapetus that predates the super continent of Pangea. The rocks on those mountains are over 500 million years old. On average the earths crust recycles itself through plate tectonics approximately ever 200 million years.

So you take the chopper to fly over where the mooses are. Definitely scoping the area to pin point an animal. This is far from being a fare chase. This is why you're not supposed to start hunting on fly day. Very poor sportsmanship
