Nice review! I'm happy with my 2024 XL Ecoboost and will be keeping it for quite a while. I really don't care for the new front end design and don't need the bigger screen. Also, I don't know why Ford will not offer the front wheel drive in the XL anymore. Just a way to bump the price up even more. I have the cactus gray color which is no longer offered. I really like the Ecoboost engine and am getting between 28 and 29 miles per gallon on average.
What is frustrating about the price is it started at $20k with a standard hybrid. It's now over $6k more expensive for that exact truck without anywhere near $6k worth of upgrades, in only 3 years. It's quickly becoming less and less of a value option. Is the base price going to jump another $6k in the next 3 years without significant upgrades?
Ford has to make up for the Biden/Harris electric vehicle disaster that crippled Ford and now they are opting out of. Unfortunately prices on non electric vehicles are going up to make up for it.
@@prestondeters5093 it's true. I got mine in 2021 for 23k out the door. I like the truck but it's still at the end of the day a no frills truck made in Mexico. No way is this thing worth 30k for the base model
@@prestondeters5093 yes definitely!! I got the initial price even though I got the 2023 after waiting 18 months . It was an awesome price . Now at 26,000 minimally - more with the hybrid. It’s still not bad - but not a bonafide bargain .
If I were to replace my 2023 XLT hybrid Maverick, I'd go with the AWD hybrid with tow package in desert tan or velocity blue. I like the improved infotainment screen, AWD hybrid option and the ability to tow up to 4k lbs on this platform, while keeping fuel economy numbers up.
Thank you for the update. All your updates really helped me choosing options for my 2023 XLT Hybrid I ordered and have really enjoyed. Now having 24000 miles on it and averaging 47+ mpg. Do you have any idea as to the fuel mileage on the 4wd hybrid yet? Thanks again for your informative videos
I'm a bit bummed the hvac controls is now in the screen. This alone will have me looking at a used 23 or 24 when the time comes. Don't really need awd or the mpg hit that will come with it.
Toyota comes out with a small truck next year. Corolla or Stout?.. Can't wait to see that! Maybe the Maverick prices will come down a bit as competitors bring their small trucks into the market.
The AWD and 4k tow is what has me going to order a 25 and trade in my 22! Interest rates should fall some by the time they come in.
Excellent review! Thanks from Canada 🇨🇦

Thank you for the great breakdown. Cant think of any reason to pay more for xlt besides wheels
Great informative video! Thanks!

Very tempting. You are right. 😅

If i were to get a 2025 Ford Maverick hybrid, it would be the XLT, with AWD and towing package. Currently have a 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid Lariat
I think I'd take an XLT hybrid AWD in Eruption Green. Nice detailed update sir@ 👍
I just ordered one like the one you want today....
Production will need to shift to the USA before i seriously consider one, due to the increase in pricing.
I am not a fan of putting all the HVAC controls into the touch screen
Why aren’t these on the roads and being test driven by reviewers?
Because as of this date, they’re just entering production
They are on trains being delivered right now...
Then you should start seeing review soon :)

It’s a myth
Any rumors when we might see an EV Maverick ? will probably go Rivian R1T if they don't get one out in the next year or two.
Nothing like that is on the horizon in the next year or two.
@@TestDrivenTV I am hanging on to a 2007 Sportrac that I still love. Not much out there that could replace it.
