Thank you!! I'm delighted to get them out into a bigger space, they love walking around and exploring, I can't wait to get a roof over this part and be able to enjoy them without the net and worrying about birds too!! 🤣🤣🤣

I'm looking at putting some of my younger axolotls in a pond outside in the UK. Don't think the eldest who I've had for 15 years would appreciate the move.
Can I ask what heater do you use for winter as I'm struggling to find much online. Thanks

Hey! They'll love it outside for sure! I use regular small 50 watt aquarium heaters but the trick is to have them hang straight down so the heater is jot touching the bottom, and also so there is no way the Axolotl can land on them or lean up against them and scald themsleves! I'll do a lil video about it this week as soon as the rain stops long enough out there!! 😂😂😂

Hi, if I wanted to build a pond like this, how much would it cost me in total?

It depends, because material prices can vary so much from location to location! I'd probably put it between €1000-1500 by the time you have pumps and filters fone if your willing to build yourself!

I know that the fish have gone to a bigger and better home but I felt emotional seeing the pond empty 😢🤣 looks fantastic Greg

Thank you!! 🥰🥰🎉🎉 I was soooo devastated it was gone, its been my go to for 2 years and I was absolutely gutted the next morning when I came down and there was no fish there to greet me!! But they're all super happy now and loving their new space which is awesome!!
