Probably a decent unit but its still $90. For that you can get a 20amp Renogy MPPT controller or for $110 a Victron Bluesolar 75/15 (granted it was on a EBay sale). I wouldn't risk my batteries to save $20 or $30.
Cheapie Charge Controllers can be very expensive. I had one that you build yourself from a company called Cirkits. I built it and used it for a year or two, When it fried it shorted my batteries and took out my two UniSolar 64 solar panels. It's just worth it to spend the extra dollars and buy a Trace / Xantrex.
Thanks for the professional video, very helpful!
No worries mate.
Hope it was informative 👍🏽
Nice unit. I bought one. Much simpler than the Victron where you have to set the profiles. Well made. Running right now.
Thanks for watching mate 👍🏽

Good point mate when it comes to the outlay of a lithium battery.

Wow, couldn't imagine much worse than that mate.
Did you find out what the root cause of the failure was?
@@OutNAboutAustralia Just the charge controller was toast. It was a stormy day that day, May have been a lightning strike.
