    Your channel is the reason I decided to purchase a Ralliart. Had a Lancer ES for a while and was tip toeing around the idea of biting the bullet and purchasing one but your channel convinced me.
    Love your work.
    P.S It's already in for an SST Rebuild 🤣

      That's awesome man, I hope after the SST Build it is just fun and enjoyable for many years

    Always good coming back to this channel and seeing where the Evo is upto, very nice car. Also good that you space out the modding intop if that.
    I bought my Ralliart in late January this year, its great because it was stock with less then 120,000kms for 21k. Only modification it has which was unplanned seeing that I wasn't going to modify it for atleast 3 months is the SST rebuild. Built to same spec as your on the rebuild side, cost me $40 for 20L of fuel i put in in the day i picked it up. Used car lot payed for the transmission to be rebuilt by RPMotorsports here in Sydney.
    Stuff i will be doing in the next fews months is putting my temporary Mazda 3 MPS (gen2) wheels on once i fix them up + paint them which will live on the car till i get myself a set of Enkei GTC02's. Ontop of that, putting the RA Caliper's, brake hoses, rotors and pads that were intended for my Lancer. In the future i do intend on getting the Plasmaman Intake Manifold and a HKS GT 3 Turbo kit.

    • @JacksonStrain
      @JacksonStrain  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man and congrats on the RA and especially the dealership paid for SST haha that's a score.
      Your plans sound great and I actually used to have GTC02s on my Evo before I started the channel

    • @nimbleryan735
      @nimbleryan735 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JacksonStrain all g, i think what makes your content great is that its relatable which is why i enjoy it and probably for a large No. of your subscriber's 👍 interesting to know GTC02's used to be on your Evo, i saw them on Speed Academy's Evo6 and i was sold at that point.
      Cheers, i enjoy having the RA as a weekend car so its been good. Yeah definitely lucky the dealer paid for the repair, + RPMotorsports chucked in a free 500km break-in oil change which i did on Monday. While i was at RPM i got the S-Sport V2 engaged for the price of the factory S-sport.
      Plan on making the car unique in its own way in the future, but first year-to-year and a half is focusing on maintenance and suspension work. Reason i say that, my 07 Cj Lancer (that has 415,000kms) feels better in turns after its suspension work. So power mods will be down the track till the handling is perfected 😅
      Also might give TH-cam another go for car stuff, still unsure how to start but ill try to give it a go soon 😅

    Jackson - few questions
    1 - Did the headlight blackout change the effectiveness or beam quality overall (ie same light throw before and after the mod) ?
    2 - The door cards you got in leather, have you seen them in alcantara at all ?
    3 - Confused as fuck why we want a heated sump for the SST (I live in canberra and I religiously warm mine up for a few minutes)
    I am definitely keeping mine long term, I've had mine since August 08 and it's got 260k on it. For the record, I paid more for my car new than you did buying and modding yours. You got a bargain :)

    • @JacksonStrain
      @JacksonStrain  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey mate,
      No the headlights perform the same as it's only the chrome internal parts that are painted and nothing on the exterior.
      No I haven't seen a alcantara oem doorcard but I originally planned to make mine with alcantara at the top which would have been a custom job.
      As for the heated sump it's definitely great to have for getting the operating temps faster, I've found it halves the time it takes to get to 60c and also keeps it from overheating as easy when on track and or hard driving

      @@JacksonStrain Thanks bro, I am going down the heavy mods as the cash flow increases, it's nice to speak to a man who's done the other important stuff though (everyone talks about the motor)
      I am planning on going the full alcantara like the 06 demo model had (over the dash and basically everywhere the plastic has that textured 'look')
      Might be a very long time till I get there but I'll report back and let you who, how and where (Might have a local in QLD that does it)

    Hi, I always watch your TH-cam vids. I'd like to know the part number for the black visors you use for the Evo X. I searched the Mitsubishi epc data but only the gray is available. I bought some eclipse cross visors but they don't fit🥺.
    Also, which doors cards are you using? Thanks for any info that you can provide on this.
