The Stratocaster and Jazzmaster are parallel universes in sync. There are few instruments that so complement one another in the hands of a player who prefers one or the other.
He also makes you really want a vintage one instead of modern day 🤘🏻

That bridge pickup part. Such amazing tones for those leads. Man, it's so strange to me that the Jazzmaster didn't take off in the blues heyday with say, the Hubert Sumlins, Buddy Guys and Albert Collinses of the day.

I remember Ole Roy Clark playing a Jazzmaster before boy could he make it twang! One guitar I’d love to see Lemmo play is a Gibson Non-Reverse Firebird III Studio with 3 P90 pickups and a 5-way selector!

I’m not a Jazzmaster fan..... but I always, Always, always click when I see a jazzmaster becasue of how much Lemmo likes Jazzmasters... he plays with more passion with a jazzmaster.
Bach?...on a jazzmaster?...only Lemmo could pull that off!

Lemmo is clearly a jazzmaster guy , very cool piece this , I especially liked the bridge pick up , the quack and twang but the rythym selector tone was real nice also , pretty cool guitar.
Mark obviously enjoyed Thumpin' Thursday the most!

A quick search turned up over a dozen Fender Jazzmasters on Guitar of the Day. There are probably more, but it's not worth wasting time searching more thoroughly.

I'd love to see a jazz player play a Jazzmaster, never have seen that. Love the guitars though.
Unfortunately Fender just couldn’t get those jazz players into the solid body and a bolt on neck... but lots of surf rock bands liked how great they sounded drowning in reverb.

I believe there are some clips on youtube of Bill Frisell playing one, IIRC.
Check out Nels Cline 4 or Nels Cline Singers. He uses them pretty exclusively. Also of mention, Joe Pass used a Jaguar on Sounds of Synanon. Bill Frisell, like somebody mentioned, uses em too 👌

Jazzmasters DO NOT have P90s. Jazzmaster Pickups and P90s sound radically different.
