What a stunner! True story, I visited LA from Scotland last summer purely to go to Norm's and buying a guitar but got so overwhelmed I ended up walking out after half an hour with nothing. Regretted it ever since, will definitely be back again when times allow!
Colin Padley it’s a naturally occurring phenomenon. Kind of a precursor to buyers remorse. It’s because it’s Norm’s aswell, prestigious store and it sounds like the trip of a lifetime. I’d have done the same methinks.
@@ryanboshell6124 I went to Gruhn Guitars and Carter Guitars last year, a dream trip too, also went to Gracelands and various places in Memphis, In Carters they let me try a 1959 Les Paul Standard even though I said I couldn't afford it, even took my picture with it, this would never happen in the UK.
Just when you think Lemmo has got to the top of the mountain he goes higher! What a tour de force of the JM’s flexibility in skilled hands. Thank you Michael.
I always love coming to watch my favourite guitarist on TH-cam regardless of what guitar it is. Keep up the good work Lemmo, you’re an absolute star ⭐️
I really liked that mellow playing with the looper when both pickups were together. I hope you don't think I'm nagging, but it would be really nice if, the next time you demo a Jazzmaster, you played some Television. I don't think I'm alone in this. Thanks, Mike.
I’m glad that Lemmo went over all the controls and features of this Jazzmaster because nobody’s ever talked about them on this channel before. Well, I mean that nobody’s ever done less than one every week. 😂😂😂
I just got a brand new American Original JM that looks exactly like this (save for the wear, it'll get there one day) and man I am loving this REAL original.
I’m confused...I thought Todd left?! This is torture! Todd is awesome and seems like a cool dude! Is he gone, or is he not gone?!?! Stop pulling my heart strings, Puppetmaster Lemmo!
Googled it... some people have (some are weird half bass half guitar, always thought that worked better on an 8 string)... but none have the floating trem/bridge since you’d have to make it custom from scratch to accommodate the 7th string.
... of course Elvis Costello used to play on a JM, being one of the first to give this underrated (in the 70s I mean) model a second chance, 10 years before J. Mascis...
FYI “C. F. Martin & Company temporarily laid off 434 people at 510 Sycamore St, Nazareth; 10 W. North St Nazareth and at 1100 Conroy Place, Easton, on March 20 due to COVID-19. The layoffs took place on March 20 and the company filed the WARN notice with the state in April.”
I do love a JM, but white - or creamy, off-white - guitars are really not my bag, baby. So the fact that I think this is entirely beatiful is - as per usual - testament to Lemmo's delight in the instrument (and his prowess in playing it).
She's beautiful. I wouldn't feel like I could look directly at that guitar if we were in the same room. Also, who do I give my money to for that shirt?
I'm afraid I really don't get the whole jazzmaster thing , I mean it's cool , it's got some sounds , and it's obviously Lemmo's fav , but to me , compared to a strat or tele or 335 , a junior or melodymaker , even an old LP with single coils , I can think of a dozen guitars that just sound better to me , but Lemmo sure makes it sound fine , well done lad , thanks guys.
I don't know but I want to shove it up his ass when he uses it. (Ditto looper mini version I think) those things are great for practicing by yourself but they belong at home and should stay there.
I don’t think Lemmo looks like Jim lol but if you look in the episode where Jim has a house party, he has an acoustic guitar in his bedroom. Then, in the episode where he buys his parents house, what is presumably the same guitar is in the house.
Nothing like Lemmo and a JM.
Why the hate for the looper? It just makes the demo more interesting.
i know I'm quite randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Nolan Drake Flixportal =)
@Ahmed Ryan thank you, signed up and it seems to work =) I really appreciate it!!
@Nolan Drake you are welcome =)

Times will allow soon - you'll get the guitar you need.
I'm in England, and I'm planning to do the same hopefully next year, curious why you felt overwhelmed?

Hard to not want more JazzMaster. Just takes me back to my Teens (60's)..... wanted one forever. Thanks MIchael. Philly love to you!

I remember lemmo played a jazzmaster that looked just like this one when he first took over and it was unreal, just like this one.
I could watch Lemmo play allllllll day, talented.
Lemmo's sense of rhythm is amazing!

Totally agree! Some Television would be awesome
Lemmo, you make time stand still when a Jazzmaster is in your mitts. Dreamy tone and clear as glass sound.
Love hearing some Radiohead.
Jigsaw Falling Into Place and (Nice Dream) for those wondering

It's amazing to me how Lemmo doesn't promote his own music when he preforms it on the show. Middle position. Lay There- Lemmo. Look it up!
That's my dream guitar. I love when Thom pulls out his JM!!! I think this is my favorite version of lay there btw.

I should be practicing but instead im watching this man. This man makes me wish I could afford a jazzmaster im converted
tasteful playing, great sound.
Lemmo. Your original with both pickups (modified version of your old song) sounded so good man.
AWWWWW MICKEY!!!!! You gone and did it again!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😊😊😊
Super sweet
The moment I saw a white jazzmaster i knew lemmo would do radiohead (nice dream)
I’m between a jazz master and a sg special for my next guitar
Same
cant really go wrong with either
Jazz all the way!
Very different guitars. Im partial to Jazzmasters, but any new guitar is awesome.
Family Pauwels yea the tremolo on that thing is hard to resist
Lemmo is such a tasteful player.
Lemmo sounds great as always man
All these Jazzmaster GOTDs are hurting my soul as I wait to save up enough to grab myself a Vintera... darn you Lemmo! (But still, keep em coming!)
Yessss Radiohead!!!
whats the title ?

oh God another Jazzmaster
Frusciante in the Fiesta Red Jag and Radiohead on this one? Loving this dude’s song selection
LEMMO = JAZZMASTER
NICE RINGS LEMMO
When he launched into Jigsaw Falling Into Place I came. I love me some Radiohead.
That’s a sweet jazz master
Nice vid again! Isn’t she a bit to yellow for a ‘62?? If it was a ‘64 with clear lacquer i say ok.
Lemmo is amazing, that gorillaz at the end!
Lemmo, I keep waiting for you to sit with an old Jazzmaster and bust out "Miracle Man" by Elvis Costello.
love me a little lemmo to wind down at night
nice dream....
Lemmmmmooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh!
Can't get enough of these 60s Jazzmasters! Love to see these! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Not sure if I love the guitar, but I do love the Radiohead that’s coming out of it
❤️
I have a 62 jm I bought in 2000. Tiny frets, very low action. Very different feel than a strat with medium jumbos.
What was the second song?
The illegal things I would do for that guitar just being mentioned would get my comment deleted.
Lol, ditto.
Lemmo The Looper .... 😁
Rien ne sonne comme une jazzmaster des année 60.
Please. Tabs. For jigsaw falling into place. For this particular cover. I listen to it every day 😔

Jigsaw Falling into Place. Don't know the other two.

What finish is on the neck?
Nitrocellulose lacquer. . . . .
@@mortensen1961 So when that starts to wear on the neck, does it become more smooth like poly-satin? That neck doesnt seem very amber for a 1962.
