This song resonates with me so much. I lost my father in 2016 to alcoholism and drug use which led to my mother passing away to suicide just 9 months later. That has always been a difficult thing for me to share, but as I got older it’s been easier for me to talk about especially awareness side of things. They say grief is something that gets better but in reality it’s something you learn to cope and survive with daily. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has lost a loved one to this sick disease ❤️

I listen to this song for my mom... she passed away several years ago. When she passed away she had so much stress, so much troubles that she would put on herself because she was a very kind soul. She was battling her demons and one day, she wanted to go out and have some fun, it was on that day. She overdosed on morphine and or fentanal ( however you spell that shitty drug). I imagine she seen the alter she was waiting for... it never is easy for those of us who lost loved ones. But know your never alone, whoever you are out there.
The sun rays were beaming through outside my place and we jammed to this song while I was smoking and staring into the rays watching the smoke disappear in them thinking of Uncle Bob who committed suicide by jumping off a bridge randomly after 35+ years of dedication to his community in Milwaukee and many loving years of marriage and parenthood. I'm lost for words but God is real and love triumphs over evil. I love all of you. Smile y'all. This man got a magnificent message in this song
