I'm a really fan of this anime/manga it's a really nice slice of life (sorry but school life slice of life became kind boring after Nichijou ) the ending hitted me like a brick and franz ferdinand it's always a win but the 2005 got me by surprise (I'm getting old)

You might be thinking of neighborhood story, if I remember correctly it's a series about Miwako, Arashi, Caroline's classmate and others growing up around them
The only Paradise Kiss series we found were the 1999-2003 manga series, the 2005 anime series, and the 2011 live-action film. The NANA anime series ran from 2006-2007 though, and was also by studio Madhouse - Could that be what you were thinking of? If not, there’s also the anime series Itazura na Kiss, which came out in 2008, and whose name is slightly similar?
This is my second favorite show next to Nana 😭😭😭 Ive watched it multiple times. Apparently, Ai Yazawa is going go slowly finish the series but we shouldn't expect an update any time soon. 🥲
YESSS, Nana and Paradise Kiss are both so good! But dang, they get you right in the feels. We read that Yazawa would like to complete the Nana manga, but isn’t sure it’ll happen since she’s dealing with certain health issues and doesn’t want to push herself. So I don’t know if we will get more or not. Either way, Nana will always be iconic, and Ai Yazawa a legendary Mangaka.
