Ryzen has a single core advantage (important for games) And you can go from first gen to a 3600, which would decimate the Xeon and they are dirt cheap CPUs also it won't bottleneck a 4060. xeons are dead as they struggle to get the most out of even a 2060 and have no upgrade paths.
Those listings are misleading, you gotta scroll down and make sure to click on the cpu+ motherboard tab and it will show you the real price, usually above $300
Bought a ryzen first gen pc (1700x 32gb ram) for £160 not saying you can get exact same deal however a first gen Ryzen would be the best as you can upgrade to 5th and even the 1700x would beat this xeon
think gamers today set far too high demands. 100 fps is more than ok, but many gamers almost require a NASA computer. Just there is the SMALLEST lag a split second, then gamers complain.. It goes without saying that graphics card dealers can take whatever they want for their cards, because gamers always buy the newest and most expensive, no matter what, and they know that, so they set the prices really high. If people only bought what was necessary, then prices fell
When u finish building the pcs what do you do after that like do u just turn it on and start downloading your games or what do you do before that can u make a video on that or lmk
My friend is willing to sell me his 4060 for $100. Is it worth building for my first gaming pc? I’ve been playing on the series x since 2021. I’m only playing at 60hz because I never upgraded my tv. Will I be happy? Also I’m almost 30, so it’s not like I have to be at this budget, or buy his gpu. I was actually looking at a 7900gre build with a 7600x. I know that it’d be a better setup, but I constantly find myself wanting to up the specs and at the end of the day I’m not trying to drop too much money into my setup. So would you recommend I build a cheap 4060 build and just sell it and upgrade if I like it? Or just skip the 4060 and go big?
Bro im just getting into this stuff and I was thinking why the hell is his fortnite fps so low with a 4060??? Is the CPU the issue? i wanna buy a prebuilt PC for around 500 also and i was thinking a 4060 would be a monster for fortnite and warzone
The fact that these two can just post their (for the most part) unedited footage and entertain me more than Linus or optimum will always amaze me. And by the way, I bought an attack shark mouse from Amazon, and it is actually good. I’m not meat riding, I actually recommend it🥺
The 4060 is definitely getting bottlenecked by the cpu. Add another hundred or so and pair it with an i5 or cheaper ryzen or downgrade the gpu to something like a used 1080ti or 2080.
Would the fact that its 12 core 24 thread help more than a 4 core 8 thread like a i3 would the i3 10th gen or a good i7 that is older would higher core count or higher clock speed be better
yes and no I think it depends on the application for whether it is optimized or not. some intense games can probably utilize 8 cores. But I think OS nowaday can utilize unused core for different applications so yeah, more cores = better multitasking. that said, there have to be more taking into consideration like newer cpu have better architecture therefore have better efficiency and can be faster even if they have the same core speed + consume less power so they have more room to turbo and generate less heat so there is less chance to throttle. then there is age, those xeon cpu on online shop are originally made to last a long time so it is pretty common to find one that is used for like 10 years, just do a quick google search for their model release date. there is also the fact that you can't really cheap out of cooling cuz these things most likely generate more heat than your average i3 or i5. that is all I know. I can't say it's good or bad so the least I can do is letting you know what to consider

Those listings are misleading, you gotta scroll down and make sure to click on the cpu+ motherboard tab and it will show you the real price, usually above $300
thats not even a good deal lol
So, all of a sudden, the 4060 is quickly becoming one of the most used/popular graphics cards? But I thought everyone hated this card? 🎉
there are no bad products only bad prices - old business wisdom
price was just really bad compared to what you could get with a less amount of money at the time
do more pc cooler case pc build
Bought a ryzen first gen pc (1700x 32gb ram) for £160 not saying you can get exact same deal however a first gen Ryzen would be the best as you can upgrade to 5th and even the 1700x would beat this xeon
Just because it’s the most used don’t mean it’s a good card . It’s cheap and a 4series which looks good in builds .
V3 CPU's are better than V4 CPU's. You can unlock all core turbo on V3's but not on V4's.
The M.2 being so close to the cpu is absolutely killing me lolol
What would you suggest as the best case fans from alli express?
for those who dont know: the 4060 starts at 240-250 bucks when buying used
I also woulda rathar'd used an older am4 cpu over that xeon
think gamers today set far too high demands.
The prices in America comparative to Canada are so privileged
thanks man your the best
Wouldnt it be better to see if pc turns on Before cable managing?
Or just skip the 4060 and go big?
i've never seen somebody put a cooler in a cool heater
The Xeon is holding the 4060 back. If you want that CPU is ok, but please, use another cheaper and older GPU.
like what other gpu
@@MegaZero- 10 or 16 series. Even mid tier 20 series.
@@jonpeley what about if i change the xeon to something else what would it be?
@@MegaZero- a much better experience. Ryzen 5 3000 or i5 10th gen.
You should be getting around 700 fps on low settings. You need like a r5 5600 or 3600
Bro im just getting into this stuff and I was thinking why the hell is his fortnite fps so low with a 4060??? Is the CPU the issue? i wanna buy a prebuilt PC for around 500 also and i was thinking a 4060 would be a monster for fortnite and warzone
@@eldolo7021 yea. It should be, although if you can get a 3060 pc for cheaper, for some reason the 4060 has the same performance.
@@eldolo7021 yea he needs a different cpu, like the ryzen 5 5600 or ryzen 5 3600
Alright thanks brody
Yay new video
My question is
Will it play Black Myth Wukong?
If you get a V3 CPU instead of V4 and unlock all core turbo, yes, it will.
@@miukku111 I’m sure it will :)
Why do you guys not benchmark something more demanding like horizon forbidden west and story games like that?
The fact that these two can just post their (for the most part) unedited footage and entertain me more than Linus or optimum will always amaze me. And by the way, I bought an attack shark mouse from Amazon, and it is actually good. I’m not meat riding, I actually recommend it🥺
Can't you increase the Fortnite settings since the cpu utilization was only around 60% during gameplay?
*Nice build*
are aliexpress motherboards actually good or will they die as they offer a cheap white b450 board
The 4060 is definitely getting bottlenecked by the cpu. Add another hundred or so and pair it with an i5 or cheaper ryzen or downgrade the gpu to something like a used 1080ti or 2080.
That tower you have, how tall is it and in front, how wide is it side to side?
Could that card fit inside the victus 15l? I was thinking of upgrading
Why you are not using 2680v4 it's base and turbo clock's are higher than this one you are using and 2680v4 are dirt cheap in these days
Were you playing in low settings?
Budget 4070 build next? 🤔
that'd be cool if my pc wasn't already completely built
eyyy im here for this
The only good thing about that setup is the graphics card
the cable feeding was cringe i did that and broke a corner of my board be careful
I get that it’s cheaper but a 12100f would be way the hell better than these Xeons.
this makes the 4060 look bad. pair it with a 14th gen and it runs amazing
what is the chipest GPU can be used from Ali express...as I need to order all from it as its the only one who shipp where I am..
What screw driver are you using in this video?
How does my 3060 12gb compare to the 4060?
Is that chip overclockable?
Can you make a b450 mobo with ryzen 3600 with 4060?
In the video it says USB 3. On the add it only says USB 2 am I missing something?
is the 4060 better then my rtx 3080
that cpu ufff
1080 or 1440 with 4060 gpu ? What would you recommend ?
1080p
I have a question, why does my screen go black after I launch fortnite, I always got to do the windows button cntrl shift b to reset it then it works
can it run games like counter strike and call of duty?
Would the fact that its 12 core 24 thread help more than a 4 core 8 thread like a i3 would the i3 10th gen or a good i7 that is older would higher core count or higher clock speed be better
yes and no
I think it depends on the application for whether it is optimized or not. some intense games can probably utilize 8 cores.
Can we get a link to that case?
Is this PC VR compatible?
