That is exactly what happened to me with the heavy cardstock setting! I threw that bad boy in the trash! I had some sections that did not cut through as well. I have the Maker 3 too.

I am still learning, both Cricut and doing Rhinestones. Removing the paper backing and applying it to your cutting mat will keep the lose cut dots from moving around. My question is way didnt you use the FLOCK setting in the menu?
I used what works best for me. That setting does not work well when cutting rhinestones flock. I’ve also placed the flock directly on the cutting mat and chose not to because it can stretch the template (which isn’t good for layered designs) and I hate wasting cutting mats.
Hi Patrice. THANK YOU!!! I had downloaded a few templates from CF, but when I moved them to Cricut, they all came in as black boxes. I didn't know what I was doing, lol. Watching this helped me so much! Rochelle

is it better to use the heat transfer company to do this if you have none of these items? I just watched your video that you use a company to print out the template.
Magic flock is way too expensive,I did some research and found that card stock works great, no sticky mess,I use my cricut air 2 to cut out the template make sure the glossy side is up so you can pull the transfer film up with your design in tact.

I'm interested in purchasing several templates from your Etsy site. But Im not sure on how to up load and use after purchase. Watching this again because I need kind of Refresher.. Trying to figure out how to move the circles on a rhinestone template in silhouette, because one of the circles is too close to another and I don't want them to touch.
Can you do more bling using starcraft? I want to try Rhinestone but I only have Starcraft and Siloutte basic and I know you've done it in Starcraft once.
I was trying to follow everything you did, and I do have all access on creative fabrica, and I was stopped in my tracks because the file you chose had an SVG file and I downloaded the same exact file you chose, and my file didn't have an SVG. Can you help me please? I have watched a ton of videos between you, Marilyn and Eve and you all have got me hooked, I just want to do a project.

What magic is this ? Lol.whem I put my stones onto the template half of them end up the wrong way round with the adhesive side facing up how can I avoid this ?? Love your videos Patrice 💗
the static is possiblt causing that. I usually press the masking on my clothes to reduce the static. You then should switfty place the transfer tape down.

Some have tried other materials. I have not. So, I can't tell you why you can't use the materials mentioned.
