Since Ive been getting some questions about both, the mouse in this vid is a sample of the upcoming Xlite V3 (not a review unit) and the mousepad is the new orange artisan zero! I will be making vids covering both ofc

What is wrong with the layout, from your POV? Not trying to argue or anything, just truly curious.
It’s just, I used to think I preferred the 75% layout as well (coming from a full-size and then a Logi G Pro TKL), but once I got my hands on a 60% (with arrow keys. That was a huge thing I needed/wanted on a 60%), I can’t see myself using a 75% anymore. Granted, I solely use it for gaming. If you do other stuff on your PC, like work, I can understand why.

just a quick disclaimer, the tofu60 and blade60 have both been discontinued. the tofu60 2.0 (which now replaces the tofu60) is not compatible with the wooting pcb due to many reasons such as the center usb cutout and usage of a daughterboard.

THAT. IS. A. BEAUTIFUL BUILD. OMG! Totally sick.
In a proper case with proper dampening, and if the stems are slightly lubed the Wooting 60 can actually both sound and feel
rather good for a gaming keyboard. You won't be able to hear your keyboard during gaming sessions, but it does actually sound
quite decent. The switch feel however is a bit different, it's not like your generic meta linears, but it does the trick.
I'm soon placing my Wooting 60 PCB/switches in a Klippe T case, and I'll lube the stems on each switch before doing so.
Will also replace the keycaps. Too bad KBDFans have discontinued the Blade 60, such a unique case.
Why can’t they make a 65%? It would be a huge plus if you could fit it in a KBDfans 65% case as well, since I’ve got far too many of those 😂
These boards sell extremely well, it’s weird that they don’t expand.
They don't sell that well actually. Because they are incredibly overpriced for people. The most sold keyboards are in the 50-80 dollar ranges. There's a reason they only had 1298 backers and still produce and ship in waves that take months to receive.

65% doesn't rly make any sense since there is tap functions. Just put the tap feature on ctrl, shift etc... Plus there is more 60%aftermarket cases then 65%
I think the the lighter springs are good for someone that may have bad wrists and don't want a low actuation point.

I think the all out move with the wooting would be to pick up a Wilba tech salvation for the case. Lube the switches, swap the stabilizers out and mod them. And of course throw on a nice gmk set. Thats what i would do anyways lol

The title baited me for sure. I've been so excited to pick up a keyboard that is similar or better than the Wooting because it's $60 shipping and out of stock for months... Thought this was a review of one.
I always thought about something like this when the wooting 60he first came out, a case swap and maybe even switch lubing

I get the lighter springs don't make much of difference for gaming but what about typing? Which do you prefer? Do you have issues with accidental presses why typing or resting your hands on the keyboard? And do you always bottom out? I ordered a 60HE and springs but still unsure about swapping them.
i would argue that the lighter spring has MORE of an impact on a switch that actuates with the lightest press, seems like the heavier would be better. The heavier spring will help from mis-pressing keys when hovering over a key, i would think you would want the heaviest spring possible so you are not messing your strafe up by holding one of the WASD keys without knowing it, or other mis-pressing situations. Just a random thought while watching, love your straight forward no bs type of tech reviews 👍

Sadly the only thing is from when I modded yours until today the blade60 and og tofu arent being made anymore but point still stands with standard 60 case (theres tons)

Modded my Wooting just a while ago. Sound much better then before, almost custom keyboard levels.

Considering it's just software, yeah, but rapid trigger is very niche and not very useful outside of osu and even then some osu players don't like it and just want quick actuation. I find the SteelSeries multi button press with a single keystroke more useful by far myself. Both are overpriced though honestly and don't end up being a determining factor in buying. Don't get tricked into gimmicks for buying, buy the package not the piece. You set it once and forget about it. Same with actuation points, you find you're favorite spot and never touch it again. Both are nice to haves but by no means are needed or even provide an advantage. The multipress does for certain games I play, but it's really more a QOL than an advantage and honestly, I would not really recommend buying either SteelSeries or Wooting, they are just genuinely overpriced and you won't get some insane advantage over anyone else using a 30 dollar basic gaming keyboard off amazon.
@@De4dSp0t Wooting has the same multi button press in a single keystroke and it’s not just software it’s a combo of both hardware and software (switches, PCB, etc)
@@De4dSp0t Rapid trigger is useful in literally every game where keystroke timing matters (CS, Val, apex, osu, etc). This keyboard isn’t a gimmick it’s a genuinely good product with a lot of useful features. I’ve bought a Two HE and a 60HE for my brother and I. Most of my friends own one too. Once you switch to a Wooting for about a month you can’t go back to playing games like Valorant where strafe timing matters for accuracy or osu where keystroke timing matters. Takes time to adjust when going back from using a Wooting for more than a couple weeks.
@@AkalaFPS is not that useful. I have it and have friends that have it and some don't even realize if it's on or off. Because in most games it's not noticeable. Your muscles don't work that way to begin with so unless the keypress is an inch long it doesn't really matter. If the travel distance is short with a good reset it's irrelevant. You can like the keyboard but it won't give you some crazy advantage. A pro is still going to shit on you with a 40 dollar keyboard. I don't even use it, I use a heavily modified Apex pro Tkl because it has better qol comforts for me personally and it's an overpriced keyboard too, it's just more useful for me. The initial actuation matters more than reactivation.
It is software btw, they are the same switches made by the same company, wooting is just software differences.

i like the blade60 quite a bit. i went with tofu60, but i like the blade. that color scheme is nice bro. I might switch things up in the future. and yes, this is best gaming keyboard hands down. its not even that close...

I got a wrist rest for gaming not too long ago and was amazed how much better it made my hand and wrist feel by the end of a gaming session. Totally worth the investment.
For sure! The height/thickness of the chin/bottom of most keyboards put a really harsh angle on your wrist.
If you’re used to gaming without one, it might feel a little weird (not uncomfortable) at first but give it a few hours or 1-2 days. Your wrists will thank layer in life!

The right one for you depends on what you are used to or are willing to get used to.
If you are accustomed to ISO layout, it might be hard to find a different set of keycaps for that layout, that also represents the actual position of the special characters in your layout. Most aftermarket keycaps are ANSI layout. Most keyboards in Europe are ISO layout.

Whoever makes a TKL 60HE clone is gonna MOP the market. Can’t do without dedicated F1 keys, that’s just annoying. I’d have a 60HE months ago if they offered something smaller than full size.
