I think it's because charity shops are becoming second-hand shops and I think this is a really good thing for the High Street because they are selling used goods still at very good prices. Obviously not ideal for resellers but there's still plenty of good pickings if you know where to look😉
Probably due to how high the rents are here. It’s madness, I wouldn’t bother with Inverness lol.
I’ve come to realise there’s money everywhere most charity shops know the known brands and price eBay like for like but there’s plenty of easy money makers in EVERY shop if your willing to do the research 🧐 they only know the basics like most resellers if something stands out it’s usually worth buying 😉😎💰💰
Worst case pick up a couple of plus sized (the bigger the better) cardigans or long sleeved tops regardless of gucci or George they will sell easily and fast worst case via Vinted easy profits and regularly overlooked money makers
Hi, im just starting ebay selling & sold my first item as of today, im wondering how do i do tax books for my ebay page and when i need to start doing it, im abit confused on it all tbh, do i need ro make 12,500+ profit before i even start my books or do i start from my first item and keep track from there?
The PDSA “Vintage” sections do make me chuckle as they’re mostly wholesale fodder that really isn’t very old at all. Glad you managed to find some stuff worth buying, Diesel jeans are (usually) always a winner.
The costs to keep a shop open on that high street are famously ridiculous, even for the charity shops, McDonald's even pulled out of the high street because it wasn't financially viable! I used to consistently get football shirts for around the 6/8 mark from the cancer research up the top then a few years back literally overnight they jumped to 15/20+
Because they watch TH-cam.
I was born in Dunfermline. Great place, less great prices
When is the ireland visit.
You should have come to North Berwick - you would have keeled over!! RIDICULOUS PRICING!!!
@@padraicpodge too many rich fuckers lol. Lots of decent gear though.
Can get cheaper Nike jackets in sports direct than in BHF 😂😂
There are loads of wee gems in Scotland ya just gotta know where to look!
I live in fife and I bypass dunfermline and st andrews mate very expensive places
Surprised to see you wandering around my local high street! safe to say the prices here are a bit crazy in most of the charity shops sadly! the only ones I've found any good deals in are cancer research and barnardos - slightly out of the centre.
British Heart around me is bare cheap. Everything is usually under £5. It's all management & location. Just look for pricing mistakes in high rent area charity shops.
Try the lake district. Even more expensive.
Nice to see you up here again! Dunfermline is a nice city.
Pitten crief (sounds like grief!) - I am originally from Kirkcaldy just along the road
I agree some outer towns are expensive was in dunfermline couple months ago and its was ok nothing exciting but finding these gems u can but your best trying the Shelter shops or the Donating ones are a great bargain and lot cheaper sometimes, .
Great to see you're in Dunfermline! That's my home city. And you're right about the charity shop prices. Well over the top.
My home town, genuinely wouldn’t have believed it if we’d seen you George!
I just bought that Tommy skirt off you on WhatNot a few days ago - still a bargain! Many thanks 🙂
how much on the bop it . fifteen...
I'm late 😬😬... 😅 thanks as always mate 😎
Never go to Ayr town center they wanted £25 for M&S and F&F jumpers recently🤣 It's common now so many charity shops are priced like this.
