I thank Allah for selecting me among people who after so long are chosen to start understanding the real message of Quran. This topic is so important that I have to watch a second time. I have started to discover why Quranic interpretation was corrupted but, I don’t understand why people are opposing this channel in-spite of clear evidence. May be people don’t understand what the evidence based knowledge is. Allah protect Dr Hany and help him to complete the correct translation of Quran so our future generations are properly guided.
Every time I see this segment it still sends shiver down the spine. How Quran was miss interpreted and deprived mankind from Devine guidance. I have shared the link to this channel with a few people and I got crickets (total silence) from everyone, except one person. I know all those people watch, listen and attempt to study the Quranic language. Even suggested watch Cane and Abel to begin with...as there is no dead body...the ghurab is the wise man with scriputes. I think either people don't have time to pick up new threads or are overwhelmed as there is a bombardment of information. Besides, most people don't want to entertain ideas outside their favorite traditional methods....even though everybody uses logic or reasoning to some extent at work and at home. They cringe when it comes to pondering, reflecting and contemplating on the Quran. Well, I am glad to be learning from this channel....😊

Having been brought up on the bogus story about the opening Ayats of the Surah, it was a great relief to finally learn the correct interpretation which makes perfect sense against the detailed background provided. I am awaiting with bated breadth the revealing of the detailed proof linking the story in 2:259 to this Sura. Thank you Dr. Atchan for helping me to attain a correct understanding of our beloved scripture.
i look forward to the proof. the new translation makes more sense, deeper meaning and linked Alquran 'Ayat' to each other. When i say deeper meaning, the many layer of meaning is what makes Alquran great, at each level is good, but as we go deeper, it becomes clearer why Nabi Muhammad find refugee in reading AlQuran, not just some hollow story.

Prophet is human being and may do small mistakes as Nebi nature. Perfection belongs to God. I appreciate the methodology of extracting facts from Quran where the traditional story about this verse is still hold and not necessarily to be opposed
Salaam Dr. It is clear for me now. First 2 ayah of Surah 80, Allah mentioned about a third person. Only the ayah after that, Allah talked to Rasulullah. Before watching these lectures I read the translation of Surah Abbas and it is very obvious that Allah is not referring to Prophet Muhammad (saw) but the translator is adding His name in the translation each time, why? Why they are trying to speak on behalf of Allah by adding their own words?
Alhamdulillah, This takes such a big burden off the chests, we call our prophet Rehamat Al Alamein, and then we see the historians attach all types of stories that don't jibe with his character, and the scholars are so blinded by the taqleed, that they have closed all avenues of research and thinking.
Subhanallah! This is thought-provoking and certainly, a different take to the exegesis of the Qur'an. You defend the Prophet and you ponder over the aayaat of the Qur'an in line with what Allah has asked us to do. This is commendable, without doubt. All along, the word لحم (lahm) has been meat and عظام (idhām) bones for me but i always wondered as to why Allah would ask somebody (was it Uzair?) to look at his food/drink after he was dead for 100 years. I therefore look forward to your interpretation of طعام and شراب in Surah al-Baqarah, 2: 259. If possible i would also like your take on the interpretation of او ما ملكت أيمانكم and the Asbābun Nuzoor of Surah At-Tahrim. Lastly but not to say the least, i would like to ask about the word قرية (Qaryat), which i have understood to mean town/village all this while. According to you, Dr., does it always have a negative connotation? If so, then why would Allah say in Surah Al-Kahf, 18: 59; لما ظلموا ... when they acted unjustly...? Thank you for what you do. It needs, as I guess, a good knowledge of the language, it's various dialects, whole stories of Quran in its presently accepted form, before someone can devolve into the new concept. I have none of them. But l am gifted by Allah with an open mind and fondness to logical acceptance. I believe Dr Atchan's explanation would eventually answer all the innocent questions I have been carrying in mind from class IV-V of school life till today. May God bless us all with correct weltanschauung and place Quran, Islam and Mohammad (pbuh) in their real and ideal forms.

Prophet is human being and may do small mistakes as Nebi nature. Perfection belongs to God. I appreciate the methodology of extracting facts from Quran where the traditional story about this verse is still hold and not necessarily to be opposed

It is clear for me now.
First 2 ayah of Surah 80, Allah mentioned about a third person.
Only the ayah after that, Allah talked to Rasulullah.
So Allah talked about the person who frowned to Rasulullah.
Alhamdulillah, Rasulullah is the best role model!!

The Quran is reporting what Allahh said to the man who frowned, starting from Aya 3 to Aya 10... It has nothing to do with Rasoolullah

Before watching these lectures I read the translation of Surah Abbas and it is very obvious that Allah is not referring to Prophet Muhammad (saw) but the translator is adding His name in the translation each time, why? Why they are trying to speak on behalf of Allah by adding their own words?

Alhamdulillah, This takes such a big burden off the chests, we call our prophet Rehamat Al Alamein, and then we see the historians attach all types of stories that don't jibe with his character, and the scholars are so blinded by the taqleed, that they have closed all avenues of research and thinking.

Subhanallah! This is thought-provoking and certainly, a different take to the exegesis of the Qur'an. You defend the Prophet and you ponder over the aayaat of the Qur'an in line with what Allah has asked us to do. This is commendable, without doubt.
All along, the word لحم (lahm) has been meat and عظام (idhām) bones for me but i always wondered as to why Allah would ask somebody (was it Uzair?) to look at his food/drink after he was dead for 100 years. I therefore look forward to your interpretation of طعام and شراب in Surah al-Baqarah, 2: 259.
If possible i would also like your take on the interpretation of او ما ملكت أيمانكم and the Asbābun Nuzoor of Surah At-Tahrim.
Lastly but not to say the least, i would like to ask about the word قرية (Qaryat), which i have understood to mean town/village all this while. According to you, Dr., does it always have a negative connotation? If so, then why would Allah say in Surah Al-Kahf, 18: 59;
لما ظلموا
... when they acted unjustly...?

It needs, as I guess, a good knowledge of the language, it's various dialects, whole stories of Quran in its presently accepted form, before someone can devolve into the new concept. I have none of them. But l am gifted by Allah with an open mind and fondness to logical acceptance. I believe Dr Atchan's explanation would eventually answer all the innocent questions I have been carrying in mind from class IV-V of school life till today. May God bless us all with correct weltanschauung and place Quran, Islam and Mohammad (pbuh) in their real and ideal forms.
