Europe travel tip: don't throw away waterbottles! You can get some money back if you return them at special stations at grocery stores!!!

You're welcome :) it is not a lot but it can be up to 25 cents per bottle...but if you return a bunch it adds up!
...I was so shocked at first when I found out that you just throw your empty water bottles away pretty much everywhere else XD

It's not everywhere in Europe and not every kind of water bottle. It's different from country to country but definitely check it when you travel.

For someone who tries to live a minimalist life style, I'm surprised you haven't invested in a re usable water bottle. Such an easy way to reduce waste, and also saves you money !
Solène S I have one! I use it at home but it's too big/heavy to carry with me in my backpack everyday
Lavendaire especially when in some countries it's safest to drink bottled water unfortunately

In Europe, at least here in Germany you give your plastic water bottle back to any store (they recycle them) then you receive 25 cent per bottle which you actually already paid when you first bought it but get it back later on IF you give the bottle back! It can actually add up after a while
Mc J thats great but 1 liter of water is required to make a 1 liter water bottle so you might as well just buy a re usable one :)
There are plenty of lighter options. Im a big fan of your channel but disposable plastic bottle is quite a downer tbh. :(

Sojansetly just a tip for if you didn't know, almost all the tapwater in The Netherlands is drinkable so you won't have to buy new bottles all the time if you just fill one up at a tap! :)

A travel checklist!!! You're a lifesaver. I'm going to download it for the trip to oregon/hawaii that is coming very soon for me.
That bag is #goals. It has a nice light colored lining, not too big and several zippered comparments.

Thanks for sharing! I love the idea of your channel and the vibe you give off. I remember somewhere stumbling upon it you had mention how hard it was to find advice for a young adults and you deciding to take that initiative. It's very inspiring. My own reason for watching is to find someone who I can learn more from, that has a positive outlook and incorporate organization and healthy thoughts in my life. Oh and if any of y'all are traveling, a really good thing to keep in your bag is some spare pads or tampons (even if you're not going to be on your period but you may still save someone's day, especially on long road trip). Also a couple of zip lock bags, cause for example in Aileen's case, she might need to store the throat stuff left over back in her bag. (she mentioned in a previous video that she only takes a little at a time). Either way, have fun!

I recently began to use some smaller bags in a suitcase now when I travel, and it really does help. Although I still fold because I am old-fashioned, I use a few small pouches for toiletries and cords and WOW does it help. I sometimes use my glasses case for cords too which is awesome.
If anyone wants her backpack I know that romwe should have a very similar backpack. Even though she said she got it at a stand. Their also very cheep.
Group travel tip: When I travel with my extended family or friends, we would have a treasury. Basically everyone pitches in a certain amount of money, and one person keeps it. Then whenever you guys eat or sth together, that person can just pay. And at the end of the trip, just return the excess to everyone.

I take my white long sleeve shirt (much like your Forever 21 jacket) to use if it's a little chilly, but I also wear it when it gets really hot and I don't want any more sun beating down on me. Sometimes when I have a lot more walking and tours to do (like walking through the Roman Forum) the sun was just too much. I didn't have an umbrella but I used my white shirt to keep the sun off me. Great video and tips.

Tina Ugarkovich omg it was rainy in Paris, Salzburg, Prague, and many other places. We also went to the Swiss Alps where I layered 4 jackets (didn't bring a big one lol!). I also wore this white jacket while hiking in Croatia, even if it was hot, I'll wear the jacket so my skin doesn't bake in the sun.
ive been looking for one of these videos, a video of whats inside my travel backpack that was somewhat aesthetic and nice. just to get an idea of needed things to pack.

I always have like a bag and wallet in my handbag every single day, wherever I go. The wallet for money and cards. The bag is full of stuff, ibuprofen, hand sanitizer, lotion, lip mostrizer, small tissue, tooth brush, small tooth paste, perfume, mirror, sticking plaster, gum and self defense knife. All these are the small size and I have to have them wherever I go. I think it's really important and necessary

I love your videos!! so helpful and calming!!! I was wondering if youve thought about using reusable water bottles for your travels?? Glass and metal ones are especially better for your health as opposed to plastic, not to mention kinder to the earth! and you save money, even if only a little. if youre worried about water quality, i am sure there are all kinds of water filters you can get!! also sorry if you have addressed this in another video, but why did you choose sony as opposed to canon or nikon? i am looking to buy a dslr soon, but most of my friends use canon or nikon so i dont know much about sony.
