- When traveling, I typically like to carry and pack light. If I bring too many things during my flights, it gets too heavy and becomes such an inconvenience, especially when dealing with multiple flights and layovers. So, I set up my Fjallraven Kanken Mini backpack just right where it holds the perfect amount of things that I need for my travels.

I LOVE my Kankens. I use the classic every day. Did you know the foam piece in the back pocket is supposed to be used as an emergency seat pad if you're outdoors and don't want to sit directly on the ground? It's seriously such a well thought out brand.

I have a fjallraven kanken mini as well in the navy blue color and I love it! It was a little smaller than expected but it turned out to be perfect for my everyday stuff. Plus it's very durable and cute :)
I love this omg, I've been looking at so many 'whats in my mini' type videos bc I'm going traveling soon and none of them seemed to be packing things that I myself would pack - just a few notebooks and school supplies I guess, and they weren't really giving me a good sense of how big the bag is and if it'll fit what I need it to, but this is perfect! Really shows just how much this wee guy can hold.
I use mine as a purse and I love it! I’m a 22 yo adult but I love carrying it so much! My mom has lots of designer bags and I’ve had a few (neither of us have had anything like Louis Vuitton or Chanel, more like Coach, Dooney & Bourke and Michael Kors) but I’m so picky with purses I’ve found I actually have carried this bag more than any other bag regardless of brand. It fits so much and is the perfect size. Mine is the dark grey so it matches everything.
To be honest, I've been watching this video every once in a while for years. Maybe because I love kanken bags and your voice is very soothing.

I must admit, I’m surprised too bc my classic doughnut macaroon is usually full to the brim too. Even when I take my 15” laptop kanken with me, that’s half full when I go away and full to the brim when I’m on the way back

I'm from Finland, lol and Kånken is the most common school bag here and I think in Sweden too. It's cool that it's becoming a trend and a fashionable item but I CRINGEE when someone like an English native speaker says the name when the Å is a Swedish O, so from what I have heard most say Konken than Kanken. :))) I'm not trying to be rude just me.

I impulsively ordered kanken as soon as I saw mini version of it and its on its way to me, I guess its love at first sight. Later, I realized if its big enough to bring all my travel needs. This gave me justice buying it. Pretty expensive but I think its worth thr price!
I use the classic for school and two minis for traveling or just going out! I love it so much and I recommend it!
I ABSOLUTELY love my Kanken one of the best purchases I have ever made backpack wise. I have the Kanken mini and the 15 inch laptop version. If you want to see the 15 inch version I have a review up on my channel.

Love this video, Michelle! I use Kanken ( I believe mine's one size bigger than mini) to travel too but sts i shift to Longchamp le pliage, Kanken is so compact and very comfortable to carry, they have so many lovely colours:)
HI Chloe! Oh, yes! The Longchamp bags are perfect for traveling too! The size and durability is excellent for that. When I used to carry mine arounf, I always felt like it was my "Mary Poppins" bag as it fit so much in there! ;)

Destiny Love actually in your Fjallraven Kanken there should be a small pamphlet telling you what to do. You can also google it too if you need to.
I have the mini in green. I found that the straps hurt, so I ordered the padded shoulder straps which helped. Also found that the front zip pocket too small, and so a bit frustrating. Wondering if the next size up is better.

The normal sized Fjall Raven Kanken is also allowed as a carry on bag. Most airlines even allow a bigger one👍

That little backpack holds a lot! I'd be curious as to how comfortable the straps really are and how it handles adding items you acquire during your travels.
that bag is pretty tiny, i wouldnt think she could fit more. I have the same bag, and the straps are pretty comfortable. you can buy additional padding but I can carry mine for long periods of time and I'm totally fine
Also on the inside pocket there is a piece you can pull out so that if you are at a park or something you can sit on it if you want to sit on the ground
I was thinking of getting one to travel as well ! The only thing is that I carry my nintendo switch with some electronics (I also pack snacks, personal items like yourself so I found that very funny !) but I think it won’t be enough. I don’t like traveling with tight space so I think I will stick to my classic kanken ;w; I loved your video tho ! I wish more people packed like that because it is a life saver to have all those necessities !

For my videos, I mostly use my Samsung phone. The sony camera takes great video footage as well! That's what use for my travel videos. :)

In Canada, you’re allowed to bring baby food/formula/juices that’s over 100 ml/3.4 liquid oz. I work as a check in agent at YYZ 😋

i don’t know what kind of water bottle can fit in the side pocket. i’ve gone to gas stations to see if any fit, but none did. it would be helpful if they made one specifically for them lol. a brand of water bottle would be nice if anybody had a suggestion? (plastic or not)

I actually want to use it as a purse/handbag but I was unsure of the quality and the straps. I really like it but from the other videos I saw they said the straps hurt and the quality isn’t so good. What’s your opinion on that? Especially for the price... since I’ll be using my birthday money and I wanted know if I’ll be making a wise decision

Ive had my kånken mini for six months and couldn't use it because i couldn't figure out how the hell you adjusted the straps, but i watched this and now it all makes sense to me, you pull them through the plastic loops. Great video btw

Beats are the most uncomfortable headphones ever! I have a pair and I never use them! You can't wear them long they kill my ears hurting n crushing them. Not worth the high price tag I paid. The color of yours are cute though. Mine were all white.

Very late but if the toilets have no toilet paper i always have pocket tissues in my bag so i use one of those to wipe down there if no toilet paper
